After Jiro won against the Bad Batch, she along with the Bad Batch made their way to the observation room where many of Jiro's classmates were beyond excited.

Yaoyorozu: That was amazing, Jiro!

Mina: Yeah! You totally rocked out there! I've never seen you fight like that before!

Kirishima: That was extremely manly!

Jiro was taken aback by the praise she was receiving from her classmates. Aizawa soon approached Jiro.

Aizawa: It seems your training with Hunter and the others have benefited you greatly, Jiro.

Hunter: She's a fast learner, Shota. You've trained her well.

Aizawa: She still has a long way to go, but she's on the right track.

Hunter: My thoughts exactly. I'd say she made the cut.

Upon hearing this, Jiro was confused.

Jiro: Made the cut? But I thought I already did.

Tech: Technically you did. This combat simulation was to see how much you've learned. Based on your performance, I'd say you did an exemplary job.

Wrecker: Yeah! What he said!

Crosshair: Not bad for a rookie. You just might make it.

Jiro found herself speechless. Not only was she now a member of the Bad Batch, but she had earned their respect, even Crosshair. Despite the less than favorable reputation of the Bad Batch, her classmates showed no signs of judgement.

Hunter: You're doing well, Jiro. You still have a lot to learn, but I think you're on the right track.

Aizawa: I hope you all paid close attention to that fight, everyone. Jiro demonstrated that in a fight against any enemy, you must always be ready to adapt to whatever happens.

Hunter: That's right. No matter how good your plan is, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Your encounters with the League of Villains are proof of that.

As Class 1-A took note of Hunter's words, Tech used his Chart Quirk to check on something. As he looks on the holographic chart on his forearm, he speaks with Hunter.

Tech: I've got them.

Midoriya: Got who?

Tech: It seems that Eri wasn't the only child being held by Overhaul.

Aizawa: You mean there was another? We searched the whole compound and found nothing.

Tech: We found about this the day after the raid. I managed to access the compound's security footage. We saw the Shadow Dogs taking this girl away from the compound. I've been trying to track them ever since. I've just pinpointed a credible lead.

Hunter: Good job, Tech. Echo, looks like you're about to get some more field experience.

Aizawa: You need any assistance?

Hunter: No thanks, Shota. With All Might's retirement, you and the rest of the Pros have a lot on your hands. We'll deal with this.

Aizawa: If you need any assistance, I'll be there. All right, everyone. Class is dismissed. Take this time to train.

With that, Class was dismissed as Class 1-A with the exception of Jiro went to do some training. Jiro joined with the rest of the Bad Batch as they left the Class.

Jiro: What's the mission, Hunter?

Hunter: Tech tracked the Shadow Dogs to a shipping yard not too far from here. From what Tech has been able to gather, it looks like something big is happening there.

Wrecker: More action? Ha! That's what I like to hear!

Crosshair: Grow up, Wrecker.

Tech: It's likely that the shipping yard will be crawling with hostiles.

Hunter: This is it, Echo, This will be your first official mission as a member of the 99.

Jiro: I won't let you down, Hunter. I'm ready.

With that, Jiro joined the Bad Batch as they made their way back to their headquarters. After that, they got onboard the Havoc Marauder. As the Havoc Marauder took off, the Bad Batch began preparing their gear. Despite already completing a mission with them, Jiro was still nervous.

Wrecker: Aw relax, kid! You got nothing to worry about! We dive into dangerous missions all the time! This'll be a walk in the park!

Hunter: Easy there, Wrecker. Tech is still trying to figure out what we're dealing with. The last thing we need is to charge in without knowing what we're dealing with.

Jiro looked out the window of the Havoc Marauder and could see them approaching the shipping yards. Tech soon landed the Havoc Marauder on a rooftop near the shipping yard. As the Bad Batch exited the Havoc Marauder, Hunter activated his Electronic Sonar Quirk to survey the area while Crosshair surveyed the area in the scope of his 773 Firepuncher Sniper Rifle.

Hunter: This place is hot. It's crawling with hostiles.

Crosshair: I can see a few patrols from here.

Hunter: All right, Crosshair, you stay near the Marauder and cover for us. You see anyone who might give away our position, take them down.

Crosshair: Copy.

Hunter: I want this mission done nice and quietly.

Wrecker: What?!

Hunter: Sorry, Wrecker. This is strictly a stealth operation.

Wrecker: Argh! I hate that word!

Hunter: All right, we'll split up. Tech, you and Wrecker investigate the west quadrant. Echo and I will investigate the east quadrant. Crosshair will be our eyes in the sky, taking down anyone who can give away our position. Our mission is to find the kid and get her out of there. If any of you sees Swordkil or any of the Shadow Dogs, do not engage. Our mission is the kid. Now let's get to work.

With that, the Bad Batch began their next mission. They split up and moved into the shipping yards in an attempt to find the girl and rescue her.
