After the Cultural Festival, the Bad Batch resume their duties as Pro Heroes while also looking after Omega. At the same time, Jiro was continued training under the Bad Batch. One day, the Giant Villain and a small gang were running after committing a bank robbery.
Giant Villain: Ha! Too easy!
Thug: You were right, boss! They didn't know what hit them! Guess they really are useless without All Might!
As the thug says this, the Havoc Marauder flies over the Giant Villain and begins attacking him. The shuttle doors open as the Bad Batch jump out while Crosshair stays inside.
Giant Villain: Shit! It's the Bad Batch!
As Hunter leads the rest of the Bad Batch to fight the Giant Villain's gang, Wrecker begins laughing.
Wrecker: Make a hole!
As Wrecker ragdolls members of the Giant Villain's gang, Tech begins planting small devices on the backs of a few thugs. When does this, Tech presses a button on his datapad, detonating the devices by inducing a powerful electric shock which knocks them out. Hunter and Jiro begin taking down the remaining thugs with ease while Crosshair picks off the stragglers with his 773 Firepuncher Sniper Rifle. Soon enough, only the Giant Villain remained. As the Giant Villain throws a punch, Wrecker uses his immense strength to punch his leg. The force of the punch caused pain to the Giant Villain.
Giant Villain: Ow! You're gonna pay for that!
Wrecker: C'mon you big baby! You really think some no named D-Lister is really going to give me trouble?!
Giant Villain: I'll show you D-Lister!
Wrecker laughs as he begins fighting the Giant Villain. As Wrecker fights the Giant Villain, Hunter communicates with Crosshair on his communicator.
Hunter: Crosshair, let's get this Villain moving!
Crosshair(Communicator): Sir, yes sir.
On the Havoc Marauder, Crosshair aims his 773 Firepuncher Sniper Rifle at the Giant Villain. He then fires a shot at the Villain's cheek, getting his undivided attention.
Giant Villain: You son of a bitch!
Crosshair: Come and get me.
The Havoc Marauder begins flying away, prompting the Giant Villain to chase after it. The rest of the Bad Batch follow the Giant Villain.
Jiro: What's the plan, Hunter?!
Hunter: Crosshair's gonna lead the Giant Villain to a small alleyway! Once we get him cornered, we'll hit him with everything we got!
Tech: For giant enemies like this, tight spaces are always an exploitable weakness.
Soon enough, the Havoc Marauder lures the Giant Villain into a small alleyway. The Havoc Marauder then flies out of the Giant Villain's reach.
Giant Villain: Tight spaces aren't going to save you! When I get my hands on you, I'm gonna....
Wrecker: WHAT'S THAT?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!! I'M JUST HEARING BULLSHIT!!
The Giant Villain looks down to see the Bad Batch attacking him. The Giant Villain then slams his fist to the ground in an attempt to crush the Bad Batch, but they simply dodge it.
Giant Villain: Stand still so I can crush you!
As the Giant Villain continues to attack the Bad Batch, Hunter coordinates the Bad Batch in attacking the Giant Villain. Hunter and Jiro attack his legs while Tech places electric shock devices on the Giant Villain.
Jiro: This guy's not going down!
Tech: Echo, if you channel your heartbeat into the Villain, it'll detonate the electric charges.
Jiro: But how am I going to get up there?
Wrecker: Leave that to me!
Without warning, Wrecker picks up Jiro and throws her at the Giant Villain. Jiro manages to hang on the Giant Villain's head by grabbing his hair. Once she steadies herself, Jiro jams her Earphone Jacks on the Giant Villain's head. She then channels her heartbeat into the Villain. The vibrations detonate the electric charges, knocking the Giant Villain out. As the Giant Villain collapses to the ground, Jiro regroups with the Bad Batch as the Havoc Marauder lands near them.
Hunter: Good job, Echo.
Jiro: Thanks. Wrecker, warn me next time you decide to throw me.
Wrecker: It worked, didn't it?
Tech: I've already given the authorities the coordinates our position as well as specific containment equipment.
Hunter: Good job, everyone.
As Hunter says this, Crosshair walks over to the unconscious Giant Villain. He says nothing as he tightly grips his Sniper Rifle.
Hunter: Crosshair. Let's go. We're done here.
Crosshair: Are we? The way I see it, we're not done here. Why are we letting filth like this off easy? What do you think will happen when he's taken into custody, hhm? He'll break out. Cause more chaos and hurt people.
Hunter: What are you suggesting?
Crosshair: I say we put them all down like the animals they are.
As Crosshair said this, Jiro was in shock. What Crosshair was suggesting was murder.
Jiro: You...you can't be serious!
Crosshair: And what if I am? All Might is gone. The one thing keeping these animals in line is gone. Now it's time for someone to step up and get the job done.
Hunter: We're Pro Heroes. Not executioners!
Crosshair: As far as the Regs and those ungrateful ingrates are concerned, we're no better than the Villains. So we might as well step up and do what's necessary.
Hunter: What's wrong with you?!
Crosshair: Me?! I'm simply looking at the big picture! If you don't have the stomach to do what is necessary, then maybe you're not fit to lead this team.
In that moment, things became tense between Hunter and Crosshair. Tech soon stepped in.
Tech: Perhaps we should have this discussion back at base.
With that, the Bad Batch boarded the Havoc Marauder and returned back to base. But it soon became clear that a rift was forming between Crosshair and the rest of the Bad Batch. Only time would tell of what will become of this rift.
