Na Bangaram (Pranushka)

Chapter 11

Prabhas's Pov:

"I know," I pause the video that I am showing Rana when I hear a cough. Shriya walks in first, and then my heart stops.

Anushka walks in while talking to Miheeka. She has her hair down again and her face bare of any makeup. She is glowing. She has on gray capris and a short-sleeved top with shows of her midriff. 

Wow, I can't take my eyes off her. Shriya sits in the middle of the big couch. Rana and are sitting on the two ends of the couch. 

"Here, you sit here," Shriya takes Anushka's arm and sits her down on her left, right beside me, and Miheeka by Rana. 

Damn! She's like a goddess, I've never seen someone so beautiful. Shriya grabs the blankets from the top of the couch, there are only three so Rana and Miheeka share, I share with Anushka and she gets her own. I'm not complaining though. 

"What are we watching," Miheeka asks. Shriya grabs the remote from Miheeka's hand and starts scrolling through Netflix. 

"Uh rude," Miheeka says and snatches it back from her. 

"But I want it," Shriya says while pouting and grabbing it back. 

Miheeka replies," Your such a brat. Rana is fully engrossed in their conversation. I start laughing at their childish antics. 

Finally, Anushka takes the remote from both of them, "Here I will control it." Just then Ma and Nanna turn around. I suddenly have a brilliant idea. 

"Why don't we watch a horror movie,'' I said. 

Rana widens his eyes at me whispering, "Bro! No way! Don't say that you idiot." I just smile at him. 

"THAT is not a bad idea," Miheeka says to me and Anushka nods her head. I see Rana behind me sinking further into the large couch we all are sitting in. She continues scrolling through a bunch of movies, before landing on one. 

"Why don't we watch Nagavalli," I nod at her and everyone else agrees. I grab the blanket and spread it out over the two of us. Anushka turns on the movie and gets herself situated. She looks over at me and smiles when I throw the blanket over her. It's that smile of hers, it is something. 

Rana's  Pov:

The movie starts to pick up in pace as the ghost of Chandramukhi starts to take place. I am scared out of my mind, but when I look over next to me Miheeka is sitting still, her eyes wide not leaving the screen. I immediately cover my eyes, trying not to yell out. I turn my head to the side and without realizing it, I bury my head on Miheeka's shoulder. I clutch her arm and start breathing fast. 

She pushes me off, "Why did you agree to watch this movie if you were so scared?" I get up and regain my composure. 

She giggles at me. "Rana seems scared. Should we change the movie?" she asks Shriya while laughing. 

Shriya laughs along with her, "No way, He is such a baby. He needs to get over his stupid fear of ghosts." I perk up and fix my posture. 

"Who said I was afraid of ghosts?" I tell her my voice is quivering slightly. I should not have said that. Now Shriya is going to tell everyone all my stories. 

Miheeka's Pov: 

I had to bite down my lips to control myself when Rana's head was on my shoulder. God, it felt so good. His little beard was brushing against my skin and his hot breath was making me feel like I was in heaven. I don't want to give him the wrong impression and go too fast, I need to make him work a little. I giggle and just tease him. 

He looks so cute when he is embarrassed, I just want to- "Stop it," I whisper to myself. I lean my head against the back of the couch as the movie goes on, and I can't help sneak a few looks at him during the movie. He's watching through one eye and is covering his face a few times. I giggle to myself and turn my head back to the screen before he sees me.

Anushka's Pov: 

After a few minutes into the movie, I feel Prabhas pulling the blanket towards him. I try to take some back but he is gripping it so tightly that it doesn't even budge. The movie calms down a little bit, and I feel him release his hold on the blanket. I turn to him and pull on it a little bit while biting down a giggle. He looks over at me, and pulls on it slightly, and looks over at me. The light from the screen makes it easier to see him and I see that he is smiling a little bit.

 I make a fist and pull on the blanket a little bit more. I giggle at his annoyance because I hold the blanket in a fist. I slowly let go of it, and he grabs it again and starts laughing. 

"Really," Shriya pauses the movie and looks over at us. 

We both are laughing at each other, so she rolls her eyes at us. She resumes the movie, so we both turn to the screen again and continue watching.
