Chapter 68

Miheeka's Pov:

"You ready baby," I say in a baby-voice to Krish while carrying him in my arms and squeezing his cheek between my fingers. He gurgles at me, his eyes looking up at me with confusion. I smile to myself, thinking at how much he looks more like Rana day by day.

"Here," Rana walks into the room and hands me my purse while nodding at the stroller at his legs to put Krish in. I shake my head telling him that I'll carry him around until Krish gets tired, which is when I'll put him in his stroller.

We get into the car and drive to Prabhas and Anushka's apartment and I play with Krish in my lap while Rana calls them to tell them we are here to pick them up. The five of us, actually six now that Anushka is pregnant, are going to the mall to do a bit of shopping and just spend time together.

They get into the car in the back seats and Anushka immediately sits up to look at Krish.

"Hi Krish," She sequels happily while reaching out to rub his arms. He immediately gives her a little smile, making her grin at me happily.

"He's getting so big so fast," She pouts at me while I nod with sigh.

"Way too fast," I add while looking at Rana who laughs as he starts to drive the car.

I hand her to him, and she sits back while carefully holding him in her arms.

"He looks like your twin Rana, I don't see anything from Miheeka," Prabhas says out loud while rubbing his hand on Krish's head.

"I know, all that hard work for 9 months for nothing," I complain, making Anushka laugh and she lifts his back up and hands him back to me. I rest him against my stomach and put an arm protectively on his little shoulder while adding in here and there to the light conversation we all make before getting to the mall.

Rana takes the stroller out of the trunk and opens it up. I put my purse where Krish would normally lay because he's in my arms for now.

"We can look for some clothes for Krish in there for a bit," Anushka says to us while pointing at the store a few feet ahead of us. We nod and I walk beside Anushka who holds the door open for us to walk into the store. It's mostly empty, so we quietly walk to the back of the store where the baby boy clothes are located.

"Do you want to look for stuff too," I ask Anushka who immediately shakes her head.

"No, just for this cute baby," She says while reaching out to make a silly face at Krish with her tongue out. He makes little noises and reaches out to touch her cheeks. I just nod, not pushing her further. We walk ahead to catch up with the boys who are in a section with some soft onesies for Krish.

"Aww look at this one," I gush while reaching out for the little dinosaur onesie. It has a hoodie with soft spikes on it and is a light green and blue color. I carefully hand Krish to Rana and he and Prabhas watch as Anushka and I look at a few things I want to buy for him. He wears multiple pairs of clothes everyday, so he can always use a few extra soft onesies. He gets big so fast so I don't want to buy too much, but it's so hard to resist myself.

"Miheeka, do you really need that many," Rana complains while rocking Krish in his arms. Krish is getting a little cranky as he lays his head on Rana's shoulder and Rana rubs Krish's back up and down.

"I already narrowed it down," I pout while lifting my arm full of Krish's clothes up. I make puppy-eyes at him while moving towards him to tilt my head on Krish's. Rana just rolls his eyes and nods at the checkout counter so we can go check out. I grin and walk to the checkout counter with Rana and Krish who is slowly drifting off on Rana's shoulder. I convinced Anushka to buy just a few plain white socks and onesies even though they don't know the gender of their baby yet. Having a few basic white clothes for the baby is always helpful. Prabhas and Anushka checked out before us and are sitting on the little benches in front of the store waiting for us to join them.
