chapter four: disagreements

Y/n noticed the blonde boy had a different accent, british. She didn't like the boy very much, he had quite an attitude. "So, can you tell us why we're here?" Alby said suddenly, "O-oh uh yes okay, I recommend you take a seat." they all sat down on Alby's bed while y/n sat on the bed opposite which she presumes was Gally's because he was giving her the side eyes. "Start talkin'.." Newt said looking at her. "Well, as you know, the Flare virus is killing the world as we speak. And it's getting worse and worse by the hour. So we have decided to take action, we have to find a cure. So, we are going to put some people through some trials to test their minds, the immunes-" the blonde boy interrupted her, "Immunes? What the bloody hell does that mean?" y/n glared at him, angry that he interrupted her talk, "Well, Newt, the immunes are people who can't catch the virus. Isn't is self explainatory?" she said angrily. Newt just stared at her and looked away, "As I was saying, the immunes may be the key to everything. So we are going to give them tests and see the differences between immunes and non immunes." Gally looked confused, "Hold on, I thought you said we were all immune?". "Not exactly, you see we have two subjects here who are not immune, due to confidentiality I cannot tell you who." the boys sat there in wonder, "Well how many people are there then?" Newt said. "Well in your group, Group A, there is about 30. And we are currently building a Maze which you will eventually be sent into-", "Excuse me? Did you just say a bloody maze?" Y/n sighed then replied, "God you enjoy to interupt people don't you! Just shut the hell up and let me bleeding explain!"

"How do you expect us to be okay when you say your gonna send us into a maze? Huh? If I walked into your room and told you that I'm pretty sure you'd be reacting exactly the same way! So for Gods sake just bloody get out I can't stand looking at your god damn face anymore!" Newt shouted at her, she stood there in utter shock. Alby stood up and grabbed onto Newts shoulder considering he was inches away from the girls face, "Newt, calm down!" "Get off me Alby!" he shoved off Alby's hand and stormed into the bathroom. Y/n was speechless, so she just turned around swiped her keycard and left. Outside the door she slumped onto the floor and let out a frustrated shout, Ava ran around the corner and said, "Y/n! What's the problem?!" "They bleeding well hate me Ava, I'll just leave them for another day and come back then." So she stood up and walked straight past Ava without saying another word.

~Elsewhere~
Newt, Alby and Gally were sitting on their beds. "Guys?" Gally said to them. They both looked up, "Do you think what the girl said is true? That some of us aren't immune? She sounded pretty genuine to me." Newt was the first to speak up, "Well, I don't really know. Don't like her anyway so I don't even bloody care what she says anymore it could be true or a whole load of sh-" Suddenly the door burst open, they saw a guard standing there with a gun he said one word and turned and left, "Dinner." the boys looked at eachother excitedly and followed the man to the cafeteria.
