chapter seventeen: memory one

"The Saviour? What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Ava sighed, "That girl, will save everyone. We don't know how, or when. But she's already saved that Newt boy, he's completely changed after she came up. He's happier." Thomas gave an annoyed look at Ava, "Why didn't you tell her she wasn't immune?" he said with a slight tear in his eye. "I'm sorry Thomas, I just didn't want her to think that she was different. She was one of the best, I needed her on the ball." "That shouldn't make a difference!" he shouted at her, "Thomas calm down." "No! No! How am I supposed to calm down knowing that my sister can catch this awful virus that literally turns you into a weird, black, vainy zombie?! I love her and I don't want to lose her!" Ava sighed, "Thomas, please make your way back to your room." "No! I need answers ,I need answ-" two guards burst in and dragged Thomas back to his room, he tried to fight against them like Y/n did, but it was no use.

Thomas was thrown in his room and he realized he was alone. Where was Chuck? Or Teresa? He stood up and sat on his bed, wiping a tear that fell from his eye. He sat, thinking about Y/n. About their life before they worked for wckd, Y/n had only been brought in around a year ago. Thomas and Y/n were twins. Although, Y/n was 13 minutes younger than him. He remembered how they used to play together in their large, green garden on front of their large, brown house. He remembered how wckd came in and tore him from their family,they didn't want Y/n that day on July 17th of last year. It hurt to know that his parents were probably dead at this point, his mother- their mother, was a beautiful woman. With dark brown hair and bright green eyes, she was always smiling and laughing. Their father was a tall ginger man, he had bright blue eyes, he was kind and strong. He remembered how he would let Y/n sit on his shoulders when they went on long walks in the forest, he always pretended to drop her and the fright in her eyes made him laugh slightly. The door to his room burst open, "Teresa? What's wro-?" "It's Y/n, something's wrong. She was talking to Newt, then just held her head and passed out." After Thomas heard her saying this he bolted towards his station, not letting Teresa continue.

~*In the Glade*~
"Shuck." Newt said as Y/n fell to the floor, he shook her to try and wake her up, it didn't work. Newt grabbed the girls limp body and held her in his arms as he shouted, "Alby! Clint, get in here! Hurry!" Alby had a confused look on his face as he dashed into the room, Clint following closely behind. "What happened to her?!" Alby shouted as he ran towards the two, "I don't know Alby! She held her head and then just fell! Please tell me she's okay!" "Hurry we'll bring her to the Med-Hut." Alby said going to pick the girl up, "No, I got it." Newt said as he picked the girl up bridal style and carried her to the hut limping slightly.

"Yes, Y/n. Well done, you appear to be getting the hang of your new technology."
"Thank you Ms. Paige!" Y/n shouted.
"Now, go and see Thomas."
"Okay, see you soon Ava."
A man came into the room and looked her up and down, "Janson, calm yourself." the woman said to him.
"Which one is this?" the man said abruptly, the woman gave him an angry look and told Y/n to continue walking.
Once the door closed the woman said, "Subject A0, Y/n. I looked at her scans, it says something about saving people."
"So that girl is a saviour? Ha please." the man said whilst sniggering.

All Y/n could see after that was darkness, it was some sort of vision or a memory, she couldn't picture it.
Then the voice appeared again, 'Wicked is good. Wicked is good. Wicked is good. Wicked is go..'

It had been about an hour or two since Y/n had passed out, Newt hadn't left her side. Not even to get lunch, "Newt, c'mon shank you gotta eat. She'll be fine for a half hour." "No, no Minho. I'm not leaving her alone, who knows what the hell she's going through right now." The girl was sweating and breathing heavily, which had everyone, especially Newt, very concerned. A few more hours passed, Newt sat there in silence waiting for the girl to wake up, Alby then came in and pulled him out of the seat, "Alby what the hell!" Newt shouted as he continued pulling him. "Meeting, you have to be there and I don't care what you say. Won't last long." he said pulling Newt. Alby was much stronger than Newt so he didn't stand a chance. Alby pushed open the door to the Council Hall and pushed Newt in, Gally laughed as he pushed him and Minho shot him an angry look which shut him up. Alby walked to the front and ushered Newt up with him, "We have to come up with a set of rules."
