chapter six: it's done

"Oh, yeah uhm hi nice to meet you Teresa" y/n said quickly, "Sorry but I really have to get somewhere." she said as she walked past them. They gave her a bewildered look but continued walking. She reached their door, slid the keycard and walked in. Newt was the only one awake, he just looked at y/n and looked back to the book he was reading. Y/n rolled her eyes, sat down and examined the file that was left in her room last night, "What's that?" Newt asked, y/n was suprised he even wanted to talk to her, but still they both didn't like eachother very much. "Oh uh- just some files about the Maze." "What about it?" "I can't tell you?" "Why?" "God you ask alot of questions." Y/n sighed. Newt rolled his eyes and said, "Y'know what, forget about it."

About 20 minutes later Alby woke up and y/n sitting in the corner of the room scared the bleeding life out of him, "AH- oh good god y/n you scared me." Newt laughed and stood up and walked into the bathroom.

~Elsewhere~
"Ms. Paige, I have been informed that you've almost finished the Maze? Is that correct?" Janson asked Ava as he examined some cameras, "Yes Janson, but that isn't the problem right now. The Right Arm, they've found one of our sights up north. It has been completely destroyed." Janson gasped, "How?! How is that possible!" "I am thinking exactly the same thing Janson. But asides from that, have you decided which subjects you want to send up?" Janson smiled, "Yes, after Alby, I'd like to send up Minho, then Ben, then Gally." "Alright Janson, that will be all." Janson turned and left the room.

~Four days later~
Y/n was woken up to yet again, another bang on her door. She got up and tied her hair back and walked out. "Ava wants to see you." Janson said. "Alright?" "Hurry up." She rolled her eyes. She made her way to her office and walked in making a face at Janson. "Hello, y/n,"  she said, "Good to see you. I thought I would let you know that the maze has been completed. We are planning on sending our first subject as soon as possible. You will be working with your other candidates every other day, on the days you aren't working with them, you will be working on the cameras and noting down the things you see." Y/n was shocked, "W-when are you sending the first subject up? Alby?" "I was hoping you could go and get him now, we have to perform his procedure to erase his memories." Y/n nodded, but was slightly saddened knowing she wasn't going to see Alby everyday. Alby was her favourite, Gally was okay, but Newt down right hated her. She hated him, so I guess you could call them enemies. She reached their door and said, "Alby, you will have to come with me." her voice cracked whilst saying this so everyone knew something was up. Alby said goodbye to his friends and followed y/n out the door.
