"ARE YOU NERVOUS?" Natalia asked her soulmate as he clenched the steering wheel in response to the question. They were going to meet Hope. After the horrid day they had before with Kol and Finn playing mind games and Davina being a stubborn teenager, they needed a break and it was time for Natalia and her family to meet Hope. To say Klaus was nervous was an understatement. After Finn told them about the curse of the first born, he grew more worried about his daughter. He was also nervous about Natalia meeting Hope. He had dreamed about them meeting but he never expected it to happen like this.
He was scared that she would like to have him child of her own...with Kai Parker and that worried him deeply. "Of course I am" Klaus grumbled as he tried to relax himself but failed miserably. Natalia wanted to comfort him but she didn't know how to, her mind was set on Nathaniel and how he was taking the news of Hayley marrying Jackson. After she had told him, he looked at Klaus and told him, 'I know how it feels now' and completely shut down. He had no right to be as jealous as he was but something was forcing him to. He doesn't know Hayley, he hasn't been around her for who knows how long but, he felt as though he's known her, her whole life.
"Why? For Hope's sake I didn't bring Kai, and Noah is on his best behavior—right Noah?" Natalia turned to the back seat where her little brother resided. Noah smiled cheekily at her then turned back to window and stared out of it. "Baby fever?" he scoffed as his mind brought back memories of Narcissa running her mouth. She had told him everything about Natalia. Not that she was trying to, but in her defense, she might have been a little tipsy. "I've had baby fever since you've met me. Don't worry, I'm not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon" Natalia patted his shoulder gently. She had already talked about children with Kai and they both agreed to not have any of their own but raise Josh, Davina, and Tim together.
"Maybe holding Hope would satisfy you." Klaus let his eyes flicker to his soulmate for a second. He sigh of relief escaped his mouth as the thought of Natalia and Kai 'loving making' escaped his thoughts. But, surely enough they pulled into the driveway of the house where Rebekah and Elijah were standing with Hope. Natalia quickly opened the car door and ran into Rebekah's arms. She hasn't seen her in forever and she was glad to see the blonde original again. "You and your family and these good genes!" Rebekah complimented as she pulled away from the hug. She checked over Natalia and smiled when she saw how bright her eyes were. She was happy. "I got the best genes, just so you know." Noah winked at the original and puffed out his chest. "I think your older brother has more" Rebekah playfully at Nolan, who didn't pay her any mind.
