Y/N POV

I was enjoying looking at things for the wedding. I didn't have to get approval from anyone and I was actually able to see what I truly like.

Levi and I were now sitting at the dining table with my parents.

My mother had made some chicken sandwiches.

I remember when she used to make these when I was younger. She hasn't made these in so long.

"So Mr and Mrs L/N, as you know there are arrangements for your daughter and I to marry. I plan on giving her the responsibility of planning and organizing our wedding. I would appreciate if she didn't have an of your influence while she is doing so. I expect it to be exactly how she wants it. And if that is stripped away from her, I will be the one to be planning." Levi had said to my parents who were listening to him intently.

"What if she chooses something that isn't-" My mother began but Levi raised his palm slightly.

"Again, if she has outside influence or anything is stripped away from her, I will be taking on the responsibility of planning." He said.

"I think we can agree to that." My dad had said to Levi.

My mother made a face and just sighed and kept quiet.

"I am glad that we can come to an agreement on that." Levi had said. He didn't have much of a facial expression while speaking to them.

"Now I think it is time to discuss when you guys plan to marry." My dad said.

I chimed in. "I was actually thinking that maybe we can-"

"Y/N please. You'll get your turn." My dad said sounding agitated.

Levi had looked at my dad with a sharp expression.

He then looked towards me.

"What were you going to say?" Levi had directed towards me.

"I was thinking that maybe we can plan it to be in either the spring or early summer so we have the option of having either an indoor or outdoor wedding." I said while looking down at the table.

"Outside weddings can become a hassle and maybe you two won't enjoy it. Especially if Levi is going to be in a suit it wouldn't make sense to have it outside." My mom had said.

Levi looked at my mother and then looked at me.

"If that's what you want us to do then we can do that. Maybe two months. That should be enough time for planning don't you think?" He asked me.

"I think two months will be enough time." I said to him with a soft smile.

I liked that Levi let me have a say for once.

This was all so new and it felt nice.

For once I'll be able to have that say that I've been wanting.

"So two months. When do you plan on moving into a place together?" My mother asked Levi.

"That we haven't discussed but it should probably be a little close to the wedding, I would say before. Since Y/N would be busy with planning, I think I would send some of my most trusted people here to deliver her stuff to the new place we would be getting." Levi had said.

He has had a lot of time to think of this huh.

But then he has come to terms with this much quicker than I have.

I'm kind of surprised we haven't really argued today.

"I think moving in before the wedding would be good for the both of you. Do you plan on having a honeymoon?" My dad had asked.
