Levi POV

I had an irritating dream. 

I dreamt about when my mom told me I couldn't be with Petra anymore. 

That I had to break up with her cause there was someone else she promised me to. 

Then she specified that from that deal, we benefit more than the other person. 

I learned about it 8 years ago. 

Not only did I dream about that time, I also dreamt about when my mother and uncle were ruthless when they had told Petra about the deal. 

Saying that there was no need for her to be around cause she brought nothing and would bring nothing more to the company. 

They made her feel small. 

And when I tried to do something about it, it just got worse.

Eventually, she left and that was the last between us. 

Of course that incident didn't happen until about 5 or 6 years ago. 

If Y/N had ran away with Jean then we wouldn't be here, I would be with Petra and Y/N would be somewhere living her life with Jean. 

I was awoken up from Y/N speaking aloud on her needing to pee. 

I didn't understand why she had woken me up until I felt her tapping on my arm, which was wrapped around her. 

It must have happened when we were asleep. 

I've never held her before while we have slept. 

She's never snuggled into me before. 

The most we've ever touched each other was on our wedding day. 

Nothing more. 

And that was solely for dancing which was nothing. 

We haven't even held hands. 

I was annoyed that she had woken me up. 

Also annoyed about the dream I had. 

And annoyed that I had an important meeting later in the day. 

We were going to have someone come in to offer some products to us to market. 

Why was it important? 

Because we were able to make the offer, to negotiate, and we got a great deal on it. 

We market the products, and we get 40% commission on each product that is sold. 

The seller wasn't too happy, but my mother was insistent that we don't go any lower than that. 

It was a meeting I was nervous for cause it was the first high end meeting my mom let me sit in on. 

She usually goes through those types of meetings alone, with her secretary taking notes of course, but never with any other person who can influence her decision. 

It didn't help that me and Y/N argued badly this morning. 

I only resulted in being mad at work all day. 

And then we had to meet some deadlines before the end of the day today so we had to stay much longer than we usually do. 

I was planning on going to lunch with Y/N so that I can tell her that I was staying late to see if her parents could take her back to the apartment since I needed all hands on deck to get everything done. 

Which, come to find out, she didn't even go to work. 

There were so many factors that pissed me off this morning.
