Y/N POV 

Levi took me out to lunch! 

And it was much needed. 

I had such a long morning! 

What did these people do when they didn't have someone running around for them?

Also the paper work that got sent back that Levi mentioned, there wasn't any attached message other than saying it needed to be looked over before Levi's company can proceed and they were getting mad at me for the fact that there was no information on which part needs to be reviewed. 

It was nice to see my parents, but they only criticized what I was wearing and asked why I looked tired, that I barely did anything. 

I love when they do that. 

It was nice to get out of the office with Levi for about an hour though. 

He took me to a fast food joint near by and we both got some burgers. 

We got some burgers, fries, some little chicken bites that we shared and we both got some drinks. 

It was filling and we had nice conversations. 

We talked about my morning, and how his morning, his meeting, how Eren doesn't know that I miss him. 

It was nice. 

I was enjoying my time with Levi very much, that was before I needed to go back to work. 

I really didn't want to, but I only had a little more time to endure this. 

I don't need to come back until 2 days. 

That is unless my parents ask me to come in some time earlier, which I hope they don't. 

When I returned to work I, again, had to run around delivering things from department to department. 

Then there was one mistake that was found and It had to go to 3 different departments before someone actually decided to fix it. 

My feet are going to hurt tonight. 

Next time I am not wearing heels here. 

I can tell you that much. 

It was just about time Levi was going to come pick me up so we can both head home. 

I wonder what I'll make us for dinner. 

I really just need to sit down for a bit and get out of these heels. 

I was getting my things ready to head out of the building but my phone started to ring. 

It was Levi. 

I picked up and spoke, "Hey, I'm just getting my things, I'll be down in just a moment." 

"I wanted to let you know that another meeting that I had scheduled right now is taking longer than expected. I've been in this meeting room for 2 hours. I'm sorry I can't pick you up, but I sent Eren to go pick you up to take you home, he should be there by now. I'll tell you about the meeting when I see you tonight." He said sounding a little upset and tired. 

"Oh... ok yeah, I'll see you tonight then. Have a nice rest of your meeting." I said through the phone. 

I was a little upset just cause I really wanted to see him after a tiring day of work. 

But he is having a tiring day as well, and a much longer day than me so I can't be upset. 

I'll see him when he gets home. 

I headed out of the building and saw Eren standing outside of his car. 

"Eren!" I said with a bright smile on my face. 

"Y/N! How was work? I'm sure Levi told you I was going to be the one to pick you us." He said with a smile on his face as well. 

"Yeah I got off the phone with him not too long ago. Work was just tiring today. I really want to get out of these heels. They're really hurting my feet. Next time I am wearing some type of flats. They had me running around that I'm sure I completed at least 4 miles already." I said giggling tiredly. 

"Sounds like you had it rough today Y/N sorry to hear that. Levi has been in the same meeting for about a little over 2 hours. The people he is meeting with are very stubborn, but so is his mom so they aren't letting this out of their grasp. And the other people know they don't have much luck out there without the help from us. So we just have to see how it plays out." He said as we were getting into the car. 

"Seems like he is having a tough day." 

"We all have days like that. It's fine. He just has them a little more often now. It is actually quite entertaining to see just cause he can keep his composure together very very well." He said chuckling and pulling out of his parking spot and onto the road.

"Well when we are arguing he doesn't." I said pouting. 

"Cause he isn't shy to show you that he is feeling some type of way. I'm telling you Y/N, he sees something in you. Whether he admits it, or you acknowledge it, there really is something there. I didn't see it at the wedding, but I definitely saw it yesterday. It could just be that you were hung over, but even when Hange or Erwin are like that he lets them suffer and calls them dumb for drinking that much." He said as he kept his eyes on the road. 

"I don't know. I just don't feel it." I said to him as I was looking out the window. 

"You aren't meant to. He won't openly admit it or want you to feel that he is growing fond of you. Do you think he would tell Hange or Erwin that he truly cares about them? Or tell me that I am one of his go to people? He wouldn't but we know it. It doesn't need to be verbally expressed for us to acknowledge it." He said with a smile, still focusing on the road. 

Does he really not tell them he cares about them? 

He really is a weird man. 

"I need that verbal confirmation though. Cause then it doesn't make me think." I said to him. 

"Well, you may not get that. But it'll take time. Maybe you'll be one of the first ones he tells he cares about verbally. And when he does you better tell me." He said chuckling. 

"Of course I will. You're being a big help so I can do that for you." I said to him. 

Not long after we arrived at the apartment building. 

"Thank you for the ride Eren. I really appreciate it. And I'm sure Levi appreciates it too." I said smiling to him. 

"Of course, I am always happy to help, especially if it comes to you." He said smiling at me. 

"Uh huh sure. Anyway, I should get going now, I have to get out of these shoes and start on dinner for Levi." I said to him and was about to exit car until Eren called out for me. 

"Y/N, here's my number. Just in case you have one of those bad arguments and you need a ride to work. Levi freaked out that one day. It would both bring us some peace of mind knowing that you got to work safely other than guessing if you did or not." He said holding out a piece of paper. 

I smiled at it. 

"Thank you Eren. I really appreciate it. Drive safely." I said smiling and waving to him. 

He waved back and waited until I entered the building for him to drive off. 

I was feeling tired but sitting and maybe even laying down on our bed for about 10 minutes will be enough time to rest before I need to start dinner. 

I'm in a happy spot in life. I don't think I could really ask for more. 

I'm content. 

I can't wait to hear about Levi's day.
