Control ~Levi x Reader~ {Modern AU}

~A reference, just to let you all know, I don't really know what is said during a wedding so I just look it up and take a template and insert the necessary words in the blanks. I am using a Roman Catholic Church vow saying, I don't mean to bring religion into this, and this will be the only time in the story it will be mentioned.~ 

Y/N POV

"I, Levi Ackerman, take you, Y/N L/N, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life." He said while holding my hands. 

My turn to speak. 

"I, Y/N L/N, take you, Levi Ackerman, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honors you all the days of my life." I said to him.

Then the officiator had said "You have declared your consent before the Church. May the Lord in his goodness strengthen your consent and fill you both with his blessings. What God has joined, men must not divide. Amen. You may now kiss the bride."

Ehh... the kiss.

We both leaned in and we gave a small kiss. 

It was weird. 

I didn't like it at all. 

We pulled away and there were cheers coming from our guests. 

I gave a fake smile and me and Levi walked down the isle and we were headed towards the room I was in before. 

We got there and I let out a sigh. 

"So its official." I said to him. 

"Yeah, I guess it is." He said sitting down in a chair. 

"I need to get out of these shoes." I said while looking around the room for the other shoes I had brought along with me. 

"Do you see my other shoes around?" I asked him.

"They were white flats right? I saw you packing them last night." He said getting up and looking around the room. 

"I found them!" I called out. 

I sat down on a chair and was struggling to get off my shoes. 

"Are you struggling over there?" Levi asked me. 

"A little." I said. 

He sighed and came over to me and kneeled down. 

"Let me see your foot."

"Don't say it like that!" I said giggling. 

"Yeah and I am the weirdo here huh?" He said and I lifted up my foot to him. 

He unbuckled my shoe and removed it and I lifted up my other foot for him. 

He did the same thing as well. 

"Hand me your other shoes." He said. 

"I can do that part." I said to him. 

"I'm already down here, just hand me your shoes." I sighed and handed them to him. 

"Thank you. I appreciate it." I said to him. 

"So this reception is supposed to happen in half an hour right?" Levi asked. 

"Yeah, we have time to kill. How are you feeling? Do you need any water or any snacks? I have a few in my other bag." I asked him. 

"I feel ok, but a small snack will be nice. My stomach is completely empty except for the water you made me drink." He said to me. 

I got up from my seat and Levi was standing in front of me. 

I walked over to one of my bags and started fishing in there. 

"I have two granola bars, a fruit snack pack and a nutter butter." I said to him pulling out the things from my bag. 

"I'll take the granola bar." He said and walked towards me. 

"Have you eaten anything today?" He asked me. 

"No I haven't felt hungry." 

"Well, then I'm not eating unless you eat something as well." He said 

"Wha-? Why? I wasn't the one that threw up!" I said to him. 

"But you haven't even anything other than water." He said to me. 

"Fine, I'll have a granola bar too." I said and pulled out the other granola bar with him. 

We both sat down and ate the granola bar. 

"Did you want the nutter butters?" I asked him. 

"Did you want to share them?" He asked me. 

I got them from my bag and went over to him. 

"Scoot over." I said to him. 

He moved over and we sat on the couch together. 

I opened up the package and handed it to Levi. 

"Don't drop any crumbs on your dress." He said to me as he took out one of the cookies. 

"I'll try not to get anything on my dress." I said to him and pulled out a cookie. 

"Just don't get messy." 

We both munched on cookies and were enjoying the silence. 

Then our parents both came in and saw us eating.

"How are you feeling Levi?" My mom asked him. 

"I'm doing fine, Y/N gave me a granola bar and now we're eating these." He said to her. 

"I'm glad you guys are doing well together." My mom said to us. 

"Mom, its forced. We're forced to get along." I said to her. 

"I mean there isn't any saying that you guys won't fall in love." My mom said and I began to choke on the little bit of cookie I had in my mouth. 

"That probably won't happen for a really really long time. Plus she isn't my type." Levi said to my mom. 

"He isn't my type either. I'm into taller guys." I said still slightly choking. 

He did send me a nasty look though. 

"What its the truth." I said to him. 

There was small conversation between all of us before we had to go out there. 

Our parents were happy for us but me and Levi weren't truly happy. 

And now we were going to have to pretend for a whole evening how in love we were and how this was our decision and that we are happy with one another. 

It sucks but here we are. 

Maybe we'll dance. 

We are kind of obligated to do so honestly, so we'll see if he is a good dancer.
