Levi POV
There was a knock at my office door.
"Name and business."
"Uh sir, it's Sasha. I wanted to tell you that I remembered where I've seen Y/N from." She said from behind there door.
"Enter." I said to her with no emotion in my voice.
Do I want to know about this?
Is it even worth it?
Is it interesting?
I've been curious as to how she knew her though.
She walked in and sat in the chair in front of my desk.
She didn't speak up though.
"Braus are you going to tell me or not." I asked beginning to get irritated.
Why enter if you weren't going to speak.
"Ok ok, just know that I didn't go directly to him. I've seen her in a lot of picture because of one of my friends that I went to college with."
Oh.
"Go on." I said to her.
"Well, his name was Jean. We're still friends and like I said, I didn't go to him to figure it out. I went to one of our other friends. Connie. Regardless, they had history and Jean always talked about how poorly Y/N was treated and how she was to marry some guy as a business agreement or something like that. He showed us a lot of pictures of the two of them. He always spoke about how he wanted her back and that they had to hide so much. I haven't heard him speak of her in recent years, but I know that she was a big part of his life. I don't plan on getting between your marriage. I don't plan on telling him about this either. I just thought I should let you know about it."
She seemed almost somber when she was telling me.
There must be a lot of emotion behind this.
"I appreciate you sharing. I am aware they have history, I don't plan on telling Y/N about this either. She seems to have finally accept that we are married. As you know, we were forced into this marriage. We both didn't want this. Like you said, they were both a big part in each others lives. They planned on running away with each other to avoid this marriage. But they couldn't follow through. Is there anything else to this story?" I asked her.
"Connie kind of has a big mouth, so Jean may find out. But I don't really know if he would let him know if it is something this big. Jean is still in the area and is working here so they may cross paths. I know the last time they spoke it didn't end well, at least I don't think it did."
So I am aware.
That's why Y/N can't let go of a few things.
"I'm aware, there are a few things she can't let go of. Whether he finds out or not doesn't concern me. It would just take a toll on Y/N I know that for sure."
"You'll be the first to know if he finds anything out." She said to me.
"I appreciate it. Is there anything else you wanted to discuss?" I asked her.
"No sir, other than if it is ok to take my break now. I'm beginning to feel pretty hungry." She said.
So typical of her.
"Sure. Go ahead." I said.
It is only 10:30 in the morning.
She exited my office and I was left alone.
This whole thing can turn out bad.
Y/N and I can go to hating each other in the next coming weeks.
She can possibly do everything she can to get away from me to run away.
It sucks that I can't know her thought process through this whole thing.
I still don't know her well enough to know how she would think.
Maybe I can go home early and spend time with her.
It can always be good for us to be comfortable around one another.
I would need to call her instead of text her that I would be coming home.
We don't want a repeat of what happened yesterday.
I mean regardless on if they cross paths with one another, she's binded to me.
There isn't much she can really do without brining shame to not only our relationship but to her family and business.
Its a legal binding but would she actually follow through?
I don't know.
I'm going home.
I went to my mother's office and told her I was going home.
"Hun it is only about to be 11. Don't you think it is a little early?" She asked.
"I'm going to spend some time with Y/N today. I can always finish my work at home. I just need to go through some stuff and finalize a few things for today. " I said to her.
"I like to see that you are trying with her. I'm sure you both will come around to genuinely liking each other's presence. You guy's looked nice together at the wedding. Even if it was fake smiles and fake love, you both looked good for one another." She said.
I rolled my eyes.
"I'm living with her. It is better that we get along than going home to just argue over stupid little things. I'll be going now. Call me if anything major occurs." I said to her and walked out.
I got out to the parking garage and entered my car.
I dialed Y/N's phone and waited for her to pick up.
After about 5 rings she picked up.
"Hello husband who I was forced to be with, how can I help you?" She said kind of monotoned.
"I'm coming home. Please be completely dressed when I arrive. That is all I asked."
"It's only about to be 11. Are you feeling ok?" She asked a little concerned.
"I'm fine. I just have a head ache and don't want to be here at work anymore. I'm about to pull out of the parking garage." I said to her.
"Did you want me to heat up any food for you so when you arrive it is warm? Wait did you even eat anything this morning? Have you been drinking water?"
"You ask too many questions. I'll see you when I arrive... and yes I will take some food for when I arrive. Thank you."
"I'll see you when you get here." She said and ended the call.
Its about a 30 minute drive from the office to our apartment.
It isn't terrible. It could be a much longer drive.
So I can't complain.
Hopefully mid day traffic isn't terrible though.
