Y/N POV

Levi wasn't home yet.

I was going to apologize to him for being a bit distant these past days and hopefully he'll accept it and we can continue talking.

I was working on dinner when he had returned.

He walked into the apartment and he looked extremely tired.

"Welcome home." I said softly to him with a small smile.

"It smells nice." I said as he walked into our bedroom to I assume change into different clothes.

I was nervous though.

Do I just come out straight and say 'Yeah I saw my ex who I still have precious memories with at the park the other day and I met with him again today.'

I cant just do that and expect for everything to be ok.

I heard Levi come out of the bedroom and walk towards the island.

"What are you making?" He asked sounding tired.

"I chopped up some sandwich steaks and put some green beans and corn with it and then I'm also making a rice to go with it." I said with a small smile.

I'm freaking nervous.

"How was your day at work?" I asked him.

"Tiring, those shit heads don't know what they're doing sometimes. And then they come to me and I tell them the same thing every time yet they still decide to come and attempt to have me fix it." He said releasing a sigh.

"Well I'm sorry to hear that those people kind of suck." I said to him.

"Well, some of them we don't plan on keeping any longer so I assume some of them are just slacking because of that. But I truly don't know what is going on. A lot of them used to be able to figure things out on their own. But anyway, what did you do today?" He asked me.

God damn it.

"I didn't do much but I did go to the park today. I'm feeling much better than I have these past days. I have this sense of... I guess you can say closure." I said smiling at the rice I was stirring.

"Closure? From?" He asked.

"Maybe closure wasn't the right word. I felt like I was I guess suffocating in a sense and its been lifted a bit." I said.

"I don't think I'm following along." He said.

"Its ok. The food is pretty much done. Let me serve you." I said smiling at him.

I'll apologize to him after dinner.

I served the two of us and we sat down and ate.

We didn't talk much just because we were eating.

The chopped sandwich steaks mix I made came out tasting great.

Maybe cook it a little less but overall it tastes pretty pleasant.

Once we finished eating, Levi went to our living room to watch some TV to digest his food before heading to lay down.

I was washing dishes.

I can tell him. I know I can.

What's the worse that can happen?

He accuses me of cheating and kicks me out and I am forced to move back in with my parents.

What's the best that can happen?

He absolutely loves the idea that I am back in touch with my ex and openly lets me see him and tells me to invite him over for dinner one day so we can all be amazing friends.
