Third Person POV

They both had a nice dinner. 

They didn't speak much. 

But Levi did ask Y/N why it looked like she had cried for so long. 

Her response, "It was just a tough day emotionally." 

And they left it at that. 

The numb feeling was coming back that Levi had been feeling. 

He was hoping that this was just some sick joke that he was being put through. 

He just wanted to wake up tomorrow and have Y/N wake up beside him, in his arms, smiling up at him. 

That's what he really wanted. 

He wanted to go back to joking around with her. 

He wanted to go back to enjoying dinner with her. 

Hell, he would even take the arguing if it meant that he was able to keep Y/N around. 

When it came for them to sleep, Levi felt emotionless. He felt both bitter and numb. 

Y/N still didn't tell him what her father said that can possibly end up making her want to run away. He heard it from Sasha, but he wanted to hear it from Y/N. 

They were both in bed, no one spoke of anything. 

So many thoughts were running through Y/N's head though, positive and negative ones. 

I had a nice evening with Levi even if we didn't really speak.

Pepino was so cheery today. 

Levi seemed upset but maybe he just had a long day at work. 

What if Levi hates me tomorrow morning?

He had every right to, I'm leaving him to run away with another man.

Doubt. She was feeling doubtful. 

Did she really want to leave EVERYTHING behind? 

Levi and Pepino? 

Her small little family? 

What about Hange? 

Or Eren? 

She never got a chance to see them one last time.

She began to scratch her face lightly before Levi grabbed her wrist. 

"No." Was all he said while looking at her. 

"Sorry." She apologized and stopped. 

They both "went to sleep." 

They were faced away from one another. 

Levi laid wide awake. 

Did he even want to be awake when she was leaving?

His mind wouldn't shut off. 

He felt numb all over. 

His mind was a little cloudy. 

He wasn't in the best mental state that he can possibly be in. 

Y/N laid wide awake as well. 

She was waiting for the time to be 2am. 

She didn't want to fall asleep because she wasn't setting an alarm for that time. 

She didn't want to wake Levi. 

She wanted to just be gone when Levi had awoken. 

She wanted to make it easier on the both of them.
