Third Person POV

Levi entered the apartment to see Y/N on the phone with someone.

He was really hoping that it wasn't Eren.

Especially since he was open to talk right now.

Levi led Pepino to his crate and locked him in there.

He was listening in on the conversation a bit and it was obvious she was talking to her father now.

She looked evidently upset. But he didn't know what was really going on with the conversation.

He did hear her father yelling on the other side though.

And he didn't like it at all.

"Yes sir. I'll be there tomorrow." Y/N said softly into the phone.

He still continued to yell into the phone.

Levi was fed up with it.

"Hand me the phone." He said.

Y/N hesitantly handed him the phone.

Y/n just looked at the ground.

Levi interupted her father's yelling by speaking up.

"Mr L/N, so great to hear you yelling through the phone from across the room. Hope all is well. I wanted to let you know that whatever you are asking her to do for tomorrow, it won't be done, we're going to be out of town tomorrow. We're leaving tonight. Have a nice rest of your day." Levi said into the phone and hung up.

Levi handed Y/N back her phone and walked to the kitchen area.

"He wanted me to go to some business convention as training or something." Y/N said softly to Levi.

"Those are pointless. We sent Armin and Sasha to one since they are the heads of their departments and they said it was pointless, that they go over basic stuff they already learned in college. And plus, if you aren't passionate about business why even go." He said to her.

"Well thank you... I appreciate it." She said.

She sat at the island for a little while.

She was feeling uncomfortable.

And so was Levi but he was managing.

"Levi can we talk about this now... please." Y/N asked Levi who had his back turned to her.

Levi wanted to work on dinner before his appetite went away.

"We'll talk after dinner." He said to her.

Y/N let out a sigh.

"Can you at least talk to me then, the silence is just too thick between us." She said to him.

"Just turn on the TV for background noise." He said.

They didn't speak to one another for about an hour.

Levi had been working on dinner, Y/N was sitting on the couch trying to focus on what she had put on, but that wasn't working at all.

Pepino was napping in his crate, completely unbothered by the tension that was in the air between both Y/N and Levi.

Levi was done with dinner.

It was pretty simple but it took him a little time to do.

He made rice with some peas and chopped up carrots. He also prepared some sandwich steaks to put in some french bread. He had chopped up some lettuce and shredded some cheese. He also had an avocado out.
