The sweet smell of breakfast wafted through the Yang household.

Music played softly over the Bluetooth speakers in the living room while Chan manned the stove and jeongin set out plates neatly accompanied with a cloth napkin, a fork and a knife on the side. Carefully he poured a glass of milk for both of them, careful not to spill it on the table cloth.

The smell of sausages and eggs drifted through the fancy house as jeongin ran upstairs to his room. He searched around his closet for the items he was looking for coming across a mirror and seeing the purple mark again.

Softly he smiled to himself being reminded of the olders words that made him feel a certain type of warmth. The thing was, he believed it. He believed the olders words from the bottom of his heart.

Chans stood at the stove turning around to look for the small brunette walking around but didn't see him. Figuring he just went to the bathroom chan focused on not breaking the egg yolks until he felt something being placed on his head. He turned to see jeongin all decked out with sunglasses and a sideways hat along with a oversized flannel that looked a little funny with his red basketball shorts and mid calf Ninja Turtles socks.

The blonde laughed at jeongins choice of outfit and adjusted the hat on top of his head. It was the youngers favorite hat that he wore on weekends where he went fishing with his dad to avoid a sunburn. He decided to let him have his favorite one as a secret thank you.

"What's the occasion?"

"Celebration!" His braces glinted in the now risen sun as he jumped up and down a bit. He handed a pair of amber looking sunglasses that were most likely meant for a female but jeongin liked them nonetheless.

"What are we celebrating?"

"Whatever you want!"

The giddy boy bounded off into the living room where music was playing from the TV. He typed a song into youtube and ran back into the kitchen while the beginning notes played and slid on his socks up to chan. "Watermelon Sugar" Played loudly through the speakers adding the happy feelings both of them felt that morning.

It felt so perfect to wake up beside each other and get up to make breakfast after sharing a few innocent kisses. they weren't really that innocent but that's besides the point. It was their story that was still in its beginning stages but either way, whether they were taking it slow or not, it was theirs. It was a new chapter in both of their lives that was being written on the spot, no rhyme or reason what was happening why. Hence the weird dance off they were having in the kitchen while Chan tried not to burn their food.

"Bring the plates!" The older pointed with a greasy spatula as the younger scrambled to get them being hungry.

Chan plated the food and carried them over to the mahogany kitchen table where their drinks were already poured and jeongin was lighting candles.

They looked so silly let's be honest but it was fun to be dressed up in weird clothes while they ate breakfast.

Jeongin turned the music down a bit and sat in front of the blonde while he set his phone down beside his plate. Slowly they began eating letting the music fill the silence.

"So," Chan began lowering his sunglasses ever so slightly to see the younger better "what brings you to this fine establishment alone?"

The brunette giggled a bit before innocently pushing his glasses up so they sat somewhat correctly on his face. They were too big on his face so they were always somewhat crooked on the bridge of his nose. The older found this so adorable.

"Well you can't tell anyone but I came here for the cook"

"Oh really?" Chan asked in English but nonetheless jeongin understood.
