Jeongin opened his eyes the next morning to a ringtone playing in his room. The faint familiar ring coming from somewhere in the sheets.

After pushing chans feet out of the way he found his phone tangled in the flat sheet. Grabbing it, he answered it in a sleepy voice

"Hello?"

"Innie you're still in bed?" His mother's voice came through the phone softly. It was odd since she would normally scold him for not being up.

He hummed before saying "yeah I didn't sleep too well"

Which was a blatant lie. Him and Chan had stayed up most of the night talking about nothing in particular until sleep finally took over their bodies.

"Okay well are you home?"

"Yes why?"

"Your father and I are on our way home because grandma and grandpa had an emergency with the company"

"Okay, " He mumbled still half asleep while sitting up "when will you be home?"

"Probably an hour so freshen up and be ready for us okay?"

"Mhm" He hummed once again

"When we get home we want to have a talk with you, jeongin."

"About what?"

"We'll tell you when we get there so just make sure youre ready okay?"

He hummed and they bid their goodbyes. Slowly after he let his phone fall away from his face and he began falling asleep again at the end of the bed.

"Who was it?" He heard Chan muttered from above him

"My mom" He answered sleepily

"Why?"

"They're on their way home from my grandparents"

This made Chan sit up in surprise. He was now fully awake and looking wide eyes at the calm looking jeongin below him.

"Well get the fuck up then!" Chan stood from the bed mildly panicking. The house was a complete wreck compared to when he came and he couldn't leave jeongin to clean it by himself

Jeongin sat up from the bed with wide eyes. Both boys rushed down the stairs to find that the house wasnt as bad as they originally thought. They just needed to pick up a few things wipe off the counters sweep the floors and plug in the disgusting air freshener again.

Slowly but surely they got everything cleaned except for a few things to make it look like the house hadn't just been cleaned and like jeongin had been there. They left an opened juice box on the counter and a dirty plate to make it look like dinner from the night before.

Everything seemed pretty normal with the house and they were glad because now they had at least a little bit of time to spend together before Chan had to leave.

They stood in the kitchen together which seemed to be a pretty normal place for them to stand together. They hadn't really said much to each other, knowing that their time was coming to an end for this visit.

"I don't want you to go" The younger admitted with a small laugh "but I know that we'll see each other soon right?"

"Funny how a few weeks ago, you wouldnt have even let me come past the sidewalk and now you don't want me to go"

He walked up behind jeongin and hugged his small frame, cradling him in his arms.

"Don't be a meanie," He whined softly "you were demanding then, now you're just sweet and nice."
