Back to business...
---Jeongin sat at the island in his kitchen while both of his parents were talking to him. About what he got caught doing of course, lecturing him about how recording himself doing such things was bad and how he could get in a lot of trouble for sending things like that to people. They questioned him, asking if he was cheating on Chan with Minho and had to explain everything. How it was a genuine accident that he sent that video to him and how Chan had asked him to send it for when he got out.
"How intimate are you two?" His mother asked softly, curious about her sons safety and if she should be getting him tested.
"Um- I.. What do you mean?" Jeongin couldn't even look them in the face as he was just so embarrassed. Especially since they were talking about his sex life.
"How many times have you two had sex?" His dad clarified.
It wasn't that they were trying to get him to spill everything and explain every single time so they could chastise him for it, they just needed to know if he was sexually active so they could help keep him healthy and buy him the things he needed for it.
"Only once... it was that night when seungmin.. Yeah."
"Was it a first time for both of you?" His mom questioned again.
"F-for me, yes but for channie it wasn't.."
"Has Chan gotten tested?"
"Tested?? For what?" The boy was confused, not exactly knowing what that meant.
"For STDS?"
"I-im not sure, mom.. Can we please just stop talking about this? It's making me uncomfortable.." Jeongin looked up at them with pleading eyes and hoped they would comply and to his gratification they did.
"Of course," His mom smiled at him a bit "but we want you to let us know if you need anything to help prevent getting hurt. We don't mind if you and Chan are having sex since there won't be any pregnancy scares but if you are going to be sexually active, you need to be safe about it, okay?"
Jeongin just nodded and looked away for a moment.
"Did you think about what I asked you?" He asked timidly.
The two adults looked at each other for a split second before his dad sighed. What jeongin didn't know was that the company his father worked for was struggling. He hadn't really been getting his full paychecks because they were struggling to stay afloat after the CEO had quit. If it made their son happy, they would try their best.
"We decided that we can help bail him out but if you truly do want that, you'll have to quit piano and we will have to sell a few of your instruments to earn back what we lost."
Quit piano..
Sell his instruments??
Of course jeongin wished that everything could be perfect and that it could be just pretty butterflies and rainbows. When it came to love however, you have to make sacrifices. If that meant giving up music for someone who he truly felt as if he could give away his whole life for him then so be it.
"I'm okay with that.. I just want Chan back."
"We figured you'd say that.." His mom reached for her purse, pulling out a light blue envelope and sliding it across the table. "Go get him out and then come back and decide what instruments you want to get rid of."
Jeongin didn't have to be told twice as he grabbed the envelope and ran around the island to hug his parents.
"Thank you... Thank you so much.. I'll make it up to you I promise.."
With that, jeongin ran to the door not caring about anything else and got his shoes on. In a matter of seconds he was out the door, sprinting to jisungs house which was all the way across town but it didn't matter.
Meanwhile, jisung and Minho were getting it on. And by getting it on I mean dancing around the kitchen while making breakfast and screaming the lyrics to some American rock band, get your mind out of the gutter you nasty. They had finished that a long time ago.
Jeongin didn't care and busted through the door, screaming for jisung who came running in a matter of seconds to see jeongin in his pajamas with messy hair, flushed cheeks and harsh breathing. Holding up the sealed envelope he spoke in gasps.
"The money.. F-for Chan! We can get him out!"
Minho came running into the room, wondering what was happening and heard those words.
"Please, hyung.. Can you come with me to get him out?" Jeongins voice broke at the last words, starting to feel as if everything was crashing down as he was so close to getting Chan out but yet it seemed so far still.
"Of course, baby.. Let's eat first and then we can-"
"No. Please come with me now." Jeongin was desperate. Desperate to feel the boy he loved so much again.
"Jisung, please." Jeongin urged again, feeling so helpless, like no one was going to help him get Chan out.
Minho nudged him from behind, trying to get him to understand. Of course jisung understood. During the time that Minho and him were apart, all he wanted was the older. All he wanted was to run into his arms much like jeongin wanted to Chan. He knew how actually helpless jeongin felt in that moment, just like jisung had felt that day when he cried over Minho while eating his snacks. Just like he felt when Minho and him had his first time and he was embarrassed about the fact that he wasn't skinny like jeongin or how he didn't have muscles and rather a little pooch from his snacks. Helpless. That's the only emotion to describe it. Just wanting to be with someone but still no matter how close it felt, feeling as if you were still so far away.
"Let's go get channie out.." Jisung smiled a bit and watched as jeongin almost broke there but held it back, running out the door and being the first in Minhos car impatiently waiting to get his lover out.
