"Jeongin, were home!" Mr. Yangs voice rang through the house as the piano played from upstairs.

Upon hearing the yelling, said boy stopped pressing the keys and bounded down the stairs to see his happy father and mopy mother.

"I hope you're hungry because we bought lunch for you" His father passed over a white styrofoam box that upon opening it contained some type of pasta with white sauce.

"Thank you," He sat down and opened the plastic fork with his heart beat in a rapid beat.

His parents began eating their food, his mom standing at the other end of the counter focusing mostly on their food.

"What are your plans for today, jeongin?" He looked up at his mom who was clearly judging his outfit choice based upon the way she looked at the grey sweatshirt in his skinny frame. She sighed at his in styled hair that swept sloppily across his forehead and some pieces completely out of place.

"I-i was going to go visit Chan, why?"

The woman tucked a loose trans of hair behind her ear and took a bite of food.

"We wanted to know if you were going to go to piano lessons since you haven't been for the past few lessons"

He hadn't gone to the last two and that was because of the court dates. She knew that yet she was trying to make jeongin feel bad for not going.

"I mean, there's a lot going on right now. I've still been practicing so it's not like I gave up on it, mom"

"So it's just okay that we spend money for your to go every single month yet you just don't show up to it?"

Jeongin made a face at her and scoffed, shaking his head. The way she was acting was childish and it was getting on his nerves.

"So you're fine with wasting my money then?"

"Does everything with you just have to deal with money? Are you that self absorbed that you think money is the problem?" He threw down his fork in anger and went to stand but was stopped by his father.

"Jeongin, that was uncalled for, please apologize to your mom. Now."

Jeongin shook his head but was met with a stern look from the man.

"Fine," He turned to the angry looking woman "I'm sorry that you're childish and that you're such a selfish bitch!"

He stood from the table and began walking away towards the stairs, running up them to leave the room as quickly as possible.

Throwing himself on his bed, he sighed angrily. He didn't know what to do. If he could barely even get along with his parents, how was he supposed to ask them to bail Chan out? Granted, things were getting better with his dad, at least he understood but what about his mom? There was no way she'd let him bail out the boy her son was gay for.

A quiet knock sounded on his door minutes later.

"Go away!" He yelled hoping for once, they'd just listen but to his dismay the door opened revealing his mom standing there.

"What are you gonna ask for me to pay you back all of the money that you lost through the piano lessons now?"

The woman stepped into the room, closing the door and walking over to his bed. Slowly she sat down and looked at him with sad eyes.

"What has gotten into you?" The concerned tone in her smooth voice made him think of all the reasons he was acting this way.

"I-i don't know," He sighed "there's just been a lot on my mind.. The seungmin situation wasn't exactly helping either.. Neither is Chan going to jail. Now with you nagging me, it's just getting to where it's all too much to handle."

"I'm sorry," She said softly. "I should try to be more understanding, I know that... But it's just hard for me since you've just changed so much."

Jeongin scoffed and looked away from her. Changed from when? Now that he was finding himself and beginning to finally branch out, he wasn't perfected to her liking anymore. That bothered him more than anything that she wanted him to be perfect all the time.

"I really am sorry, jeongin. You're my son. I should be there for you and try to understand because I know that you're not like me and might not believe the same as me but I can't stop you from loving someone. It's going to take some getting used to, seeing you with boys but if that's what makes you happy then I can't take that from you. If I'm not here for you now, I won't be able to be there for you in the future."

She grabbed his hand softly "so I want you to invite your boyfriend over for dinner sometime so we can properly meet him, okay?"

The boy was uneasy but the genuine sparkle in his moms eyes made his heart swell.

"Well there's a few things wrong with that sentence, mom.."

"And what's that?" She asked him gently, looking as if she was about to cry.

"Chan isn't my boyfriend, technically and he's still kind of like," He paused for a moment ".. In jail."

She let out a small laugh, her pearly teeth shining in the light of his room.

"Right, how could I forget..?"

"I-i was meaning to ask you something, though.." Jeongin began again, feeling more nervous now more than ever.

"Okay.." The woman prompted.

Jeongin looked at her, saying a silent prayer in his head and taking a deep breath before saying:

"Can you guys bail Chan out?"
