Skeppy's POV
"Shit!" Vurb yelled as Harvey's plush sword knocked his own sword out of his hands. Harvey laughed while Bad tensed beside me.
"Language!" Bad shouted. I grinned, looking at the annoyance in Bad's eyes. Tubbo was grinning, but he was sitting farther away, on the ground. Finn was inside, probably trying to clean the house. Six boys, one now being a teenager, doesn't equate for the cleanest house.
"You know," I nudged Bad. "you kind of encourage Vurb to swear when you say that." Bad glanced at me.
"I know, but it's a habit now. Plus, someone has to keep you muffins in line." Bad grinned at me. I mock-gasped, putting a hand over my heart like I was offended.
"Are you saying five young adult males and one teenage boy can get out of hand without help? No, never." I shook my head, but I still smiled. Bad laughed, shaking his head at me.
"So unusual." Bad commented. We sat in silence for a little while, watching Harvey and Vurb scrimmage. They both were confident, you could tell by their postures. Vurb no longer shrank away from the sword, instead dodging it till he found his point of attack.
I barely noticed Bad stand up, but he tapped my shoulder. I looked up at him. "Can we go talk? In privacy?" I nodded cautiously, pushing myself off of the stone wall we had sat on. Bad led us around the house to the front. I am an extroverted person, or at least I was, but I am not lying when I say that I'm nervous. Bad and I's relationship is a bit unstable.
"What's up?" I asked once Bad stopped by the front stairs.
"I just... I know we both agreed to be better friends two days ago, but..." When Bad trailed off, my heart picked up speed. I stared at Bad, trying to see what he was saying. What if he didn't want to be my friend? What if he still blamed me for... of courses he blames, I was the only one there and I didn't stop it. It's not like Tubbo could've stopped his friend, I was the only one there and I promised one thing and didn't keep it.
"I understand if you don't want to be my friend. Sorry if you felt forced." I spoke before my mind could even process it. My heart was controlling my actions, it turned me away before I could stop myself. But as I mindlessly walked away from Bad, something pulled me back. I looked back to see Bad with wide eyes.
"Skeppy! I want to be your friend, I just don't know how we start!" Bad let me go. I looked at my hand, then back at Bad. "Skeppy? Are you ok?" He walked closer to me and I looked up at him. I could feel tears forming in my eyes, but no words came out of me. It was like I was frozen.
Bad put his hands on my shoulders. "I'm sorry if it came out the wrong way. I don't want you to blame yourself or feel like I blame you. I... I feel like I'm more of the problem because I caused so much pain to you when I should have listened." I shook my head at Bad, wiping my hand across my face.
"Bad, none of this is your fault. Please, I don't know what I would do if you blamed yourself." Bad smiled.
"How about... neither of us blame each other or ourselves for Mega." Bad suggested. I smiled, nodding at him.
"I'd like that." Bad hugged me and I leaned into him. A mess, we were a mess of a friendship, but nothing was perfect. The best friendships were built by people living through hardships together. We just needed something to let us see eye to eye, maybe this was it.
"I knew your name wasn't Skeppy." I let go of Bad, glaring at him. He laughed. "What! You can't honestly think anyone would believe you if you wrote that on a paper or something!" I rolled my eyes at him.
"Oh," Now I was smirking. "so you think the people would be skeptical of the name?" Bad stopped laughing and turned away from me. I grinned, following him as he went back into the house. "Oh come on, that was a good one!"

Tommy's POV
"Posture! What the hell is wrong with you today, Tommy!" I barely blinked at Fundy, who was training me in swordsmanship. Apparently I wasn't performing up to his par or something. Fuck him.
"Depends on what you're talking about." I muttered. Fundy growled at me.
"If you want to get yourself killed out on the battlefield, then you are doing one hell of a good job of showing it." I glared at Fundy. The dude doesn't know what kind of pain I've been through in the past few days and he has the audacity to speak to me in such a tone.
"I can show you how incredible my skills are on you, if you would prefe-"
"Tommy!" I heard Wilbur bark from behind me. I turned around to him, lowering my sword. "Fundy, you can go, I'll finish his training." Fundy walked past me, smirking at me like he did something. If anything, this was a win-win for both of us.
Wilbur closed the door behind Fundy, doing a dramatic turn back to me. "Thank god you got rid of him, he was getting on my last ner-"
"Tommy, you are turning into Techno."
An eerie silence filled the room. I stared at Wilbur and he stared directly back. He did not just say what I think he said. Me, turning into Techno? He must be bloody insane to actually believe I could be like him.
"What are you talking about?" I dropped my sword, letting is clatter to the ground.
"You just threatened to kill Fundy, your temper is a thousand times shorter than usual, and just in general, you are out right rude. Just because Tubbo left doesn't mean-"
"Do not say his name." I hissed at Wilbur. "I don't want to hear what you have to fucking say. I'm over my little crying stage, I don't need Tubbo. I don't need anyone. I am much better off without any of you." Wilbur sighed, putting his head in his hands.
"It's ok to have emotions! Tubbo didn't leave because of-" Before Wilbur could finish, I swiped my sword from off the floor and pointed it at Wilbur's throat. He gasped, jolting backwards.
My brain clicked and I suddenly realized what I was doing. I gasped myself, lowering my sword before throwing it to the side. I shook as I stared at my hands. It was like they had a mind of their own.
"Tommy-"
"I'm sorry." I pushed past Wilbur, swinging open the door. I bolted down the hall, not looking back as Wilbur called my name.

Wilbur's POV
"Tommy!" I called for the last time as Tommy turned the corner. "God damn it, why does this always happen to me!" I kicked Tommy's sword, watching it spin into the wall.
Techno was the same way when Phil passed. Honestly, Phil had kept him under control when he passed on the crown to Techno. After the king before Phil, I think his name was Jerome, passed on his crown to Phil, he had made it clear he didn't want to be king. I should've gotten the crown since I'm a year older than Techno, but I hadn't felt like it. I still don't.
Back to what I was saying, Phil had controlled Techno from being an overbearing force. Once Phil died, Techno was... hurt, to say the least. Karl knew, he was there the entire time. Techno didn't want to see me, which was understandable. But once he finally came out, he had totally distanced from me and Tommy, and he had never been to close to Tubbo. His intents to others were vicious.
Every villain has an origin story. Every hero does as well, and sometimes they share stories. It all depends on what you do afterwards. Tommy didn't lose Tubbo completely, I hope, but he still has to make the choice. And seeing another one of my brothers turn into a complete ass was not on my schedule. I am not screwing up twice.
