TW: Swearing and Panic Attack (Tubbo)
1 Month Since Mega's Passing
Darryl's POV
"Dang it." I mumbled as my arrow went flying past the target, landing into the glistening snow. I sighed, reaching for another arrow, only to find my quiver was empty. Great, all ten of the arrows I brought had already been fired, and not one of them hit the target.
I glanced to the right, looking at the spot Mega would've been standing in. He would sign something to encourage me, then pick up all the arrows and try to help. Of course, he could only help with words, but that was all I really needed. He had always made me feel better whenever something was going wrong.
I went around and picked up all of the arrows, brushing off the snow. It was freezing, about 20 degrees, but it felt good. It was better than feeling nothing.
Once all my arrows were back in my quiver, I looked back towards the house. I could see Vurb and Finn standing in the living room, Harvey by them. No sign of Skeppy. I heard he was upset, but obviously I had it worse. I lost my best friend. He let me lose him.
That's when I noticed Harvey was pulling on his coat. I looked away, trying to act busy. Yet I couldn't bring myself to load another arrow into my bow. I was going to miss anyways, what's the point of shooting them to just pick them out of the snow?
I heard the door creak open and I looked back at the house to see Harvey walking towards me. He smiled, a little wave as a warning that he was coming over. I put my bow down, leaning against the target.
"Hey, Darryl. Want some help?" Harvey offered, a genuine smile on his face. I sighed, pulling my quiver over my head.
"No, I think I'm done. Not having any luck anyways." I set it down next to my bow, staring at the leather. Mega had repaired the thing so many times, it was his secret talent. Not that anyone would get to see it now.
We were silent for a second, my eyes locked on the quiver. Then Harvey spoke up: "Look, Darryl, would Mega really have wanted you to be like t-"
"None of you know what Mega would want." I hissed, surprising myself with my tone. It was angry, an emotion I didn't show often. Harvey didn't even flinch, he didn't seem surprised at all.
"Darryl, listen. Maybe none of us knew Mega as well as you did, but he was still family to us. To all of us. Including Skeppy." I tensed, turning away from Harvey. I heard him sigh. "Are you really just going to bottle up all of your emotions at once? How the hell are you going to feel better if you don't talk to us?"
"I'm fine, Harvey! I appreciate your concern, but I'm just fine all on my own! I don't need you, I definitely don't need Skeppy, I am so ok!" I turned back to Harvey. We stared at each other in silence.
Harvey shook his head, looking down at the snow. "You know Bad, when I first met you, I thought you were this really down to earth, nice, understanding guy. I really hope I'm not wrong." He turned on his heels, heading back to the house. I watched him leave, his footprints leaving a spot from where he had stood. A cold gust of wind blew my hair, my ears begging for some relief.
Instead, I turned to my quiver, staring at it.
"Language." I whispered.

Tubbo's POV
"Tubbo, Phil wasn't around a year ago. Let's get that out of the way." Tommy said, setting down a picture on the table between us. We were at the guard's longue. Everyone else was out on a scout, which would be our job tomorrow.
