Authors note: Super short chapter. Last chapter drained my energy a bit,,

Authors note : Kinda sorta wanna make a mini Tubbo chapter with no major purpose. Should I? -

He was shaking.

From the moment he noticed Sapnap was gone, to entering the room, leaving the room, and to Quackity leaving the house. When he was in the room, Karl could feel the tension seeping thtough his skin, and weighing him down like a brick. There were so many questions in his mind, but none on his lips. What was he to say?

Sapnap folded his arms together and leaned further back on the sofa, "Fucking bitch."

"Don't say that."

Karl could hardly even speak normally. His voice kept collapsing on him, making him stutter and whisper. It was horrible. Karl didn't want to be like this. Why was he like this? Sure, he was absolutely worried. And sure, it was worse when he noticed a soft fragrance in Quackity's room. And sure, all his nerves jumped with anxiety. But that gave him no excuse to act like this.

Quackity was his own person.

It shouldn't matter what he does. Whether Quackity decides to leave the house, skip dinner, sleep with Wilbur, or whatever else, it shouldn't matter to them.

Karl licked his lips slightly, they were drying from how long he sat pondering.

Sapnap kept huffing. Honestly, it was getting slightly annoying, but Karl forced himself to shut up about it.

Karl adjusted himself to the edge of the couch and pulled his hoodie slightly over his head. "Sapnap, why did you go talk to him?"

"Because," Sapnap looked over to Karl, his expression softened, and he sat up slightly. Sapnap didn't offer more explanation than that. What was expected? "You heard about Quackity sleeping with Wilb-"

"I already guessed it, Sapnap. You guys talking just confirmed it," Karl buried his head farther in his sweater.

"Well then, you must have heard the reason it was brought up."

Karl pursed his lips slightly. He did hear the reason. But, he didn't want to fully acknowledge it. Quackity liked them.

It was a weird thing to consider. Normally, Karl was good at reading people, but he never thought Quackity had feelings. Of course, it didn't bug Karl in the slightest. But still, that must be horribly painful for Quackity to deal with. Liking his two housemates who were dating.

"Karl... You don't like him, do you..?" Sapnap looked over to Karl, and Karl stayed silent for a second.

He knew he didn't, but the silence didn't help him. He flashed towards the visions of Quackity, and the intense emotions he felt. He never talked about that. Karl never told Sapnap how he felt about Quackity in the visions.

At least, as of now Karl could say no. "No, I don't like him in that way."

"Then we're good for now."

"If Quackity thinks what he is doing will help him lose feelings, let's not get in the way." Karl stood up, and walked out of the room.
