Without further ado I present a long overdue update get ready the next few chapters are action packed and emotional!
Autumn's POV
It was just after before midnight before my daughter Aurora and the rest of the elementals were preparing to head to Pine Mountain for the Harvest Festival and the first battle they would face together. Natalia's prophecy was coming true my sweet friends sacrifice wouldn't be in vain. The Harvest Moon Coven was prepared to fight alongside the werewolves to protect them and the humans that would soon find out what truly existed in the world. These dark hunters were monsters and needed to be destroyed once and for all.
My heart hurt knowing that my own mate succumbed to these hunters menacing ways. Jared was always a sweet and loving man and then after Aurora's birth things changed. A visiting she wolf turned his heart cold. I couldn't bare the pain of their adulterous ways and reached out to Natalia to see if she could help break the mate bond between Jared and myself. It was around this time that I had my first prophecy and found out Natalia had the same one. It was time for the elementals to gather once more and prepare to fight the darkness of the world.
Tonight, the coven would gather with the elementals to cast a protection spell over the Black Crescent group heading to pine mountain for the Harvest Festival. I took a deep breath and centered myself feeling the warmth of the earth around me. My brothers and sisters of the coven were already in their designated areas to cast this spell. A smile graced my lips when I picked up my daughter's familiar presence getting closer to my location. She had grown into a strong Luna and I was so proud of her and was excited to meet my grandson the future King of the Werewolves. I opened my eyes and noticed that Aurora, Delta, Brisa, and Adara were approaching with a look of fierceness as they prepared to head to battle.
"Welcome young warriors of the elements, tonight we of the Harvest Moon Coven will cast a protection spell over yourselves and those travelling with you. It will mask your scent from other wolves and hunters so you can quickly make your way to Pine Mountain in peace." I explained calmly sensing my sisters and brothers of the coven began activating the spell as I spoke to them. I smiled as my powers amplified the spell and wrapped around each of the young wolves in front of me. I glanced at each one and realized that their eyes were glowing to match the color of their elements as the spell took hold around each of them.
"You have the protection of the Harvest Moon Coven go and gather your warriors it is time to head to Pine Mountain. May the moon goddess watch over you all." I finished up as I watched Aurora approach me as the others headed to the caravan that was approaching from the direction of the pack house.
"Thank you for doing this for us mom, are you ready for this?" Aurora asked confidently as she rubbed her very pregnant belly.
"Yes, daughter of mine I'm ready to face the past to save the future of our kind," I said as we headed to the vehicle that would take us to the airport. I was ready for battle against this evil darkness for the second time but were these elementals ready to face the darkness of the past to save the future?
Aurora's POV
My mom's coven was pretty awesome and generous for taking the time to cast the protective spell over house so we could travel without worrying to much about the dark hunters while en route to Silver Moon pack. Back to the familiar mountains that were home for the last six years and where if my intuition was correct where my son would be born. My mom rode with myself Xavier, and hand-picked warriors to act as my body guards apparently. I love my overprotective mate but I wasn't arguing with him over it as I had a hand in picking out Black Crescents finest warriors to be in my personal guard. We had discussed this as I thought it would be wise as I wouldn't be able to shift for a while after Cypress was born and Xavier was pleased with my decision. I leaned into my mate as I felt him relax at the contact, his brown eyes sparkling as he glanced down at me and smiled.
