Chapter 22 Gift and a Visitor

Hey ya'll I apologize for the long awaited update. I love the overnight shifts but needed to catch up on some school work before I could sit down and write. 

Xavier escorted me back upstairs so I could nap while he went to finish up some pack business. I was quite sleepy and curled up on the bed and fell asleep quickly. By the time I woke up from my nap it was late in the afternoon and I was alone in the bedroom. I stretched and decided I would get dressed and look more presentable to the pack members. I quickly showered and put on leggings and a sweater and put on some sneakers. I knew Xavier wanted to show me something in town and was hoping that was still the case. I decided to not bother him and decided to head down to the dining hall to get a snack. As I walked through the packhouse I heard giggles of pups as I turned the corner, I noticed a group of pups being led by Lucille. They all took one look at me and choruses of "Luna" went around as they surrounded me and I kneeled down to greet them. Aspen was purring from the attention and I admit I was thrilled to bits to meet the future generation of Black Crescent.

That is a beautiful sight to see, said Xavier as he stared at me.

Yes, they are all very precious and I had to say hello to them, I responded.

"Alright guys let's give the Alpha his Luna back now," said Lucille smiling as I hugged the last pup.

"I will see you all again soon I promise," I said to them smiling as Xavier joined me.

I watched as Lucille and another wolf led the pups into a room that I figured was the daycare. I turned to face Xavier and noticed he was linking to someone.

"I have a surprise for you in town that I want to show you Lorenzo and Adara are already there," said Xavier seeming a bit nervous which made me even more curious.

"You're cute when you are nervous," I teased him as he smiled.

"Shall we be on our way we can get an early dinner in town if you would like," he said as we walked out of the pack house to truck that was idling out front.

"Sounds like a plan, but I am curious as to why this surprise for me is making you nervous," I said as I watched him closely watching him blush slightly.

"You will see why when we get there piccolo," as he smiled at me before driving down the road into town. I was in awe of the beautiful fall foliage around me as Xavier drove us into Maple Valley. I was curious as to what it was, he wanted to show me. I was a little confused when we pulled up in front of a cute building that had a farm house feel to it.

"You seem confused piccolo, let's go inside you will love it," he said as he smiled at me as we got out of the truck. He waited for me to join him in front of the truck and he took my hand as we approached the door as he opened it, I gasped at what I saw. I walked further into the building and took it all in. It was a café complete with top notch appliances, there was a gas fireplace with cozy arm chairs set up in front of it, tables for studying or working set up towards the rear, with smaller tables and chairs towards the front. I turned to look at Xavier who was beaming with excitement.

"It's a lovely café, who owns it?" I asked.

"The café is yours to manage and staff with who you want as to who owns it well we do," he said smiling at me as he approached me.

"Thank you, this is incredible, but didn't you say Lorenzo and Adara were meeting us here?" I asked him as I heard the door open and in walked the two wolves I was talking about.

"Well what do you think Aurora?" Asked Adara as she walked around the café.

"It's perfect will be better when we add some art to the walls and some other cozy touches," I said taking in the bare walls.
