Chapter 17 New Journey, New Home

I woke up to the annoying alarm on Xavier's phone going off and tried to burrow my head under the pillow. I felt Xavier as he stretched and reached to turn the alarm off.

"Time to wake up prncipessa," he said amused by my actions with my attempt to hide.

"No five more minutes," I grumbled as he removed the pillow and I looked at him with sleepy eyes.

"You can sleep on the plane, we need to get ready to depart Silver Moon," he said glancing at his phone sending a text to Matteo no doubt. I forgot after night of lust and romance thanks to me going into heat that I was finally leaving Silver Moon to become Luna of Black Crescent Pack. I was glad that I was here when Luna Isabella returned the pack was stronger with her back it was going to pain me to leave but at least I had the excuse of visiting my sister in law now. I grumbled and stretched out before I made a move to get out of bed. I noticed I was sore and was wondering if I could make it to the shower. I took one step, and fell on my ass as Xavier howled with laughter. I glared at him as he was laughing before I snapped at him.

"You know you are partly to blame for this Alpha," I snapped trying to sound angry but was being entertained by the fearless alpha laughing.

"I'm sorry piccolo but I wasn't expecting you to fall and it takes two to tango you know," he said as he wiped tears from his eyes. I couldn't stay mad at my mate if my clumsiness made him relax and drop his guard for a bit.

"Fair enough but help me up please so we can get ready," I asked smiling at him. He stood up and came over and picked me and held me close while I regained my balance.

"This will need to be a quick shower we need to be downstairs in twenty minutes," he said as he kissed me softly on the lips. I nodded in understanding and we quickly showered and got dressed. I put on my lacy underwear set, before pulling on my burgundy skinny jeans, and black cold shoulder sweater. I grabbed some socks and put on my black boots. I quickly brushed my teeth and brushed my hair letting my curls go natural. I noticed Xavier watching me closely as we got ready to leave the lust in his eyes was unmistakable and besides, I could tease him the entire trip back to Maple Valley Ridge. Aspen was highly amused and was all for the flirty and teasing behavior.

"I'm ready to go when you are Xavier," I said glancing around the room one last time.

"Let's go home so I can introduce you to your new family love of my life," he said as he held out his hand I took it as he led me off to my new pack. We walked hand in hand and was surprised that most of the pack turned out for my departure this morning. We were finally greeted my Alpha Kade and Luna Isabella.

"You are welcome back here at any time, besides we may need you to come back to train the warriors to help them prepare for the upcoming battle that is prophesized," said Isabella thoughtfully.

"When the time come's I will return to help prepare them as a fellow warrior," I said feeling more confident in my abilities.

"Same courtesy is extending to you Alpha Xavier," said Kade looking more relaxed now that his mate was home. "We wish you all the best but Aurora you have two people that would like a word before you leave," as Kade nodded his head to someone behind me. I turned to see Marie and Flynn with a tote bag that was embroidered to match my warrior's tattoo.

"We thought you might want some things for the flight, we also added in another journal so you can write your thoughts and help organize notes on this prophecy," explained Marie.

"We also included something your brother asked us to add in here for you to read as well," said Flynn as they tried to hold their composure. I noticed that the two people who were not in attendance was my brother and his mate. I already had a feeling that they had a long night together. I hugged both of them fiercely startling them and felt relaxed being in my adoptive parent's arms.
