Chapter 8 Bonding

By the time Zeus and Aspen were done with their bonding time they gave us our control back.

I watched as Xavier shifted and I did the same joining him on the porch where I assume he left clothes for us. We quickly put on the shorts and tee shirts, before walking hand in hand inside the packhouse. It was after midnight so it was peaceful and quiet not the normal hustle and bustle like it is during the day. I heard my stomach growl and Xavier let out a chuckle.

"I think we need to eat before we head back to our room," he said warmly staring down at me with affection.

"I agree, the dining area and kitchen is this way," I said pointing towards the back of the packhouse.

"Then let's go find something to eat and then we will discuss what happened earlier," he said as he let me lead us to the dining area.

When we arrived one of the omegas Jewel, was getting things organized for the mornings breakfast.

"Hey Jewel, is it okay of us to grab something to eat really quick?" I asked her and she looked up smiling at me before shock took over when she realized who I was with and her demeanor changed.

"There are a couple of roast beef sandwiches from the dinner earlier that you two missed out on in the fridge, and you know where the chips and pop is located," she said politely keeping her head down. I watched as Xavier went to the fridge and grabbed the sandwiches and waited for me to grab our chips and drinks.

"Thanks Jewel, you are the best," I said hugging her tightly before joining my mate in the kitchen.

"Interesting pack dynamics you have here," said Xavier curiously.

"I suppose so, only a few of us treat our omegas with respect," I said growling lowly. I grabbed a couple bottles of water and walked to the pantry.

"What kind of chips do you want?" I asked him.

"Surprise me little mate," he said his voice was warm and sultry when he responded to my question. I grabbed two bags of Cheetos puffs, the water, and Xavier took the sandwiches.

"Can we eat on the private balcony in your room?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Yes we can and we can talk while we eat," he said as we walked quickly back to is room.

We settled down out on the balcony and started eating our dinner.

"I wanted to tell you I wasn't mad at you when you told me who you are, upset that you were treated so harshly at a young age," said Xavier carefully watching me for any reaction.

"It's not easy to talk about especially since I don't know what has come of my brother Heath," tears threatening to fall as I took the last bite of my sandwich.

"I might be able to help with that we still have Beta Aiden in our custody," he said carefully trying to mask his anger.

"You still have him in your custody?" I asked completely stunned at this realization.

"I need to go back to my pack later today to make sure our borders are secured with the additional warriors Kade is sending over," he said and I felt my heart lurch at the thought of being away from my mate. "Don't fret Aurora I will be back in time for your warrior test and ceremony," he said smiling before finishing his sandwich. I was relieved as was Aspen knowing he would be back in less than a week.

"I'm surprised you are letting me continue with my warrior training to be honest," I said looking down at the table shyly.

"You will be marked a warrior here and soon with Black Crescent as well, this prophecy has already started to prove true and you will need to be prepared for whatever comes our way," as he reached across the table and tipped my chin with his hand so I was looking directly into his warm and loving eyes.

"Now I want to mark you piccolo," he said huskily as he stared at me with lust filled eyes as he pushed back from the table.

Not if we mark him first, said Aspen.

Agreed time to show our own Alpha blood, I said giving my mate a sultry look.

He must of picked up on the change that came over me as a new found confidence took over me. I blushed and nodded my head feeling Aspen's joy and anticipation. I stood up and walked over to where Xavier sat on the opposite end of the table and sat on his lap facing him. I heard his low growl at my boldness as our lips met in a passionate kiss. I reached down and broke away from the kiss to yank his shirt off before going back to kissing him. He placed his hands on my hips as I moved to kiss and nibble on his ear lobe before going down his neck until I stopped at where is neck and shoulder met. I could feel his arousal from underneath me and I rocked into it feeling pleasure run through me as I got moist. I heard his low moan and I knew he could smell my arousal now but I decided to be the dominant one. I felt my canines elongate and I bit into his flesh marking him as mine. He broke away long enough to pick me up and carry me into the room and tossed me onto the bed. He quickly got rid of his shorts his manhood standing at attention long and thick.

"Take your shorts off piccolo," he said has he stroked himself. I quickly shimmied out of the shorts and realized I was completely exposed to him. I could feel myself blushing as he stared at me taking in my curves.

He must have noticed because next thing I know he was sucking on my sensitive button as wave after wave of pleasure went through me. "Aurora," he moaned out as we both reached our peaks. I felt the warmth of his essence release inside me as we both breathed heavily the smell of sex and sweat was thick in the air.

I felt him nuzzle into my neck before getting up from the bed and heading to the bathroom.

I was surprised I could hear him through mind link and then it clicked we finally completed our mate bond. I waited until he came back with a wash cloth and he handed it to me and I quickly cleaned myself. He went back to the bathroom and I curled up under the blankets and quickly dozed off. Who knew marking one's mate could be so exhausting?
