I could hear chatter coming from the balcony as I started to wake up from the most restful sleep I have had in the past few weeks. I glanced at the time and realized it was almost ten o clock in the morning.

"Oh sugar snaps! I was supposed to be at the café at four!" I shouted and sat straight up in bed.

Alpha Kade has relieved you of your barista duties so you can prepare for your warrior test, said an amused Xavier as he carried on his conversation with whoever was on the phone.

I flopped back onto the bed with a groan realizing I was stressing for nothing. I glanced at my phone on the nightstand and realized I missed several phone calls from Lily, my mom and Alpha Kade. Relieved when I read the message from the Alpha explaining that he wanted me to meet with Marie and a pack elder to research more on the prophecy. I double checked the time and realized that Xavier would be heading to the airport in a an hour. I felt my heartache and could feel Aspens sadness as well.

I'm going to take a shower and get dressed and I could really use a cup of coffee, I said lovingly to Xavier.

You asking or telling me what to do? He asked amused.

I'll let you figure that one out, as I cut the link.

I smiled knowing that I was being a bit demanding but payback from him being so possessive.

I quickly jumped out of bed and walked quickly to the bathroom. Once inside I left the door unlocked no point in privacy after last night as I thought about everything that happened. I quickly showered and once I was done realized I had a problem. I realized I didn't have a change of clothes as I wrapped a towel around my body. Just as I was about to link with my handsome mate he walked into the door with a large travel mug of coffee and mesh laundry bag with clothes.

"Now that's a sexy look for you," he teased his eyes going dark with desire.

"Well I have a problem I don't have a change of clothes," I said batting my eyelashes at him flirting with him.

"Well good thing I bumped into your mom when I was getting your coffee," he said growling softly. He set the bag and coffee on the counter before pulling me into his strong arms and I snuggled into him. I looked up at him and he took that as an invitation to kiss me fiercely and passionately. I felt myself getting aroused and knew he could smell it by now.

"This will need to be quick principessa," as he picked me so my back was against the door.

About ten minutes later we were scrambling to shower and get dressed. I grabbed out my matching black underwear set, dark wash skinny jeans and my favorite burgundy cold shoulder sweater from the bag and got dressed. I quickly braided my hair over my shoulder and grabbed my coffee from the counter. I watched Xavier gel his hair back and felt a pang in my heart. I'm going to miss him a lot.

Why can't we go with him? Whined my wolf.

We need to research this prophecy some more and test our powers a bit, I said solemnly.

It was only going to be for five days I think Aspen and I can manage that.

Sensing the change in my mood through our mate bond Xavier turned and faced me.

"You have my number programmed into your phone now so we will still be able to talk," he said coming towards me and wrapping me in a loving embrace. I inhaled his smell and instantly relaxed.

"I know," I smiled as he placed a gentle kiss on my cheek.

"We need to go now little one," as I nodded and we walked down to the main entrance where Alpha Kade and Matteo were gathered.
