Beyoncé posed for the photographers on the red carpet of Jay's grand opening of his 40/40 Club in Los Angeles.
In the past few years, he'd opened a number of 40/40 Clubs across the country in New York City, Atlanta, Atlantic City, Houston, and Las Vegas. This new one in Los Angeles was his latest, and he was happy to be expanding his business.
She was really proud to be there and support him because he's always been there to support her in her career endeavors even when they weren't together, so she was happy to show him the same love and appreciation.
She approached some of the reporters who were calling out to her asking questions. She was feeling generous tonight, so she decided to answer a few questions and give Jay the praise he deserved.
"Hi Beyoncé, I'm Sam with Entertainment Tonight! How are you tonight?" the reporter asked her, excited to be in her presence.
"I'm doing great. How about you?" Beyoncé smiled.
"I'm good. You look stunning tonight, as always. First off, I just want to congratulate you on all your success. You've been doing so great so long, and I know you're Time cover is coming out next month. Congratulations. I'm a huge fan. Can you tell us about any projects you have coming up in the future?" he said to her.
"Thank you so much. I work really hard, and I do have some exciting projects lined up for myself, but tonight is about Shawn and his hard work and success," she replied.
"Of course. He's always been such a phenomenal businessman, and this is another one of his amazing ventures, and it's sure to be successful. This is such a huge night for him. How are you feeling about it all? And is there anything you can tell us about his behind the scenes work process?" the reporter asked her.
"I'm excited. A lot of people look at him, specifically, and they see all the red carpets, cars, jewelry, and private jets, but they don't see how much work he puts in to make events like tonight happen. No one sees the early mornings and late nights when's up until well past midnight. I just want everyone to know how much he loves what he does and how much of himself he gives to his craft. He deserves so much praise and appreciation. I'm just so proud of him. I'm his biggest fan," Beyoncé said with a smile as she started to blush towards the end.
"Well, thank you so much Beyoncé. Have a great night," he told her.
"You too," she said before she walked off.
She quickly spoke to one or two more reporters before she and her bodyguard made their way inside the club, and he led her to the section where Jay and his friends were.
