"Alright, right now, we are in Hawaii celebrating your mommy's 22nd birthday. There's your beautiful mommy right there, waddling her way down these steps," Jay said as he followed and recorded Beyoncé with their video camera.
Beyoncé laughed as she went down the steps.
He had been recording her and many of their doctor appointments and other big moments ever since he'd found out that she was pregnant because he wanted to have these moments as a video diary for them to look back on in the future and for the baby to see.
They had been in Hawaii since yesterday. They'd left Thursday night because Beyoncé didn't have classes on Fridays.
On her actual birthday, he got her a cake, gave her a gift, and took her out to a really nice dinner.
They'd spent most of yesterday relaxing at the beach and exploring the island. They'd spent today sightseeing, trying new food, going on tours and to museums, and shopping.
They'd be leaving tomorrow afternoon, so they could be back in town for Monday morning.
"We're headed to down to the beach to have dinner. I had all of this set up and surprised your mom for her special birthday dinner, and I think I did a pretty good job. She was really surprised," he said as he panned the camera around to show the scenery.
"You did a really great job baby. Thank you so much. This is beautiful. I love it," Beyoncé gushed as they walked through the sand and over to the table.
Jay pulled out her chair for her, and she carefully sat down before Jay sat down next to her.
In the last two weeks, her baby bump had gotten a lot bigger. She was five months along now, and she'd finally popped. She knew she would have to make a pregnancy announcement soon because it was nearly impossible to hide now.
"Wow, this is amazing," Beyoncé said more so to herself, as she looked around at the set up, amazed that he had done all of this for her.
