Delia's Diner
Briarwood, Texas
12:30 pm"What are you gonna do Bey?" Leigh-Anne asked her.
"Yeah, you can't just ignore him until the holidays are over. Briarwood is a small town. You're bound to run into him," Kelly, one of her best friends since birth, told her.
"I know that, but it's easier to avoid him right now," she said.
"Bitch, just break up with his dumb ass. He fumbled you just like he stay fumbling the ball. That's why his ass couldn't get a football scholarship to anywhere accept Briarwood State. Lame ass school that nobody's ever heard of. Bitch, please. I wouldn't be worrying about his ass," Nicki, her other best friend, told her.
"Nicki, you go to Briarwood State," Beyoncé told her.
"Bitch, don't try to change the subject. Shit, everybody knows I didn't do shit in high school. My report card stayed fucked up. I was lucky to get into Briarwood State. My mama said I had to do something besides laying on the sofa all day. It was either going there or saying: 'Can I take your order?' at somebody's drive-thru window. And bitch, that ain't me. That's how I know the school ain't shit if they let my ass in," Nicki said.
Beyoncé, Leigh, and Kelly burst out laughing at her.
"I'm with Nicki. Drop his ass. He's not treating you like the Queen you are. He's out here embarrassing you, all hugged up with this Ashanti bitch in public like you don't exist. Show him that you're sick of his shit and that you're not gonna put up with it. To be honest, I never thought he was that cute, and you could do way better," Leigh-Anne added.
