Beyoncé walked up to her brother's apartment door and started knocking on it.

She had tried calling and texting him, but he wasn't responding.

"Odell, open the door! I know you're here because I saw your car!" Beyoncé yelled as she banged on the door.

He didn't come to the door.

"Open the door, Odell! I swear, I will kick it down! Open up," Beyoncé yelled as she continued to knock on the door.

After a few seconds, he came to the door.

"Why the hell are you knocking like you're the fucking police?" he asked her as he opened the door.

"Tell me the truth! Did Karrueche tell you that Jay invited her, or did you make that up?!" Beyoncé asked him as she stormed into his apartment.

"What are you talking about?" Odell asked her.

"You know what I'm talking about! Answer the damn question Odell! And don't lie to me please," Beyoncé told him.

"Look, I did see Karrueche going up to his room, but she never said that to me. I just assumed that that was the reason she was there. I know Jay. What other reason could she have been there for?" Odell said to her.

"Are you serious right now, Odell?! I broke up with him because of what you said. I trusted you over him, and you lied to me! Because you're my brother, and I thought that you'd never say or do anything to hurt me! And you hurt him too! He's your best friend! What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Beyoncé yelled at him.

"Beyoncé, I'm trying to protect you from him. I know him! He's-," Odell started before she cut him off.

"No, you don't. You may think you know him, but you don't. You know one side of him because that's the only side that he's shown you and that you've seen for the past twenty years, but I know a different side of him. And he is the sweetest, funniest, most amazing guy, and I chose you over him, and he may have done a lot of bad things, but he's never done them to me, and he's never lied to me, unlike you," Beyoncé told him.

"Beyoncé-," Odell started before she cut him off.

"No, I don't wanna hear it. He hasn't given me a reason not to trust him, but I didn't because of you! Odell, I'm your sister! You should want me to be happy, no matter who it's with. And I wasn't happy with Colin or Lance, but I was with Shawn. In the past few weeks since we've been seeing each other, I've smiled more than I have in my entire life. He's amazing whether you see it or not," Beyoncé told him.

"I just don't want him to hurt you Bey. I've watched him do it to countless girls over the years," Odell replied.

"Odell, you've gotta let me grow up. I'm not a baby anymore. I'll always be your little sister, and I will always need you, but you can't be like this. You've gotta let me live, learn, and make my own mistakes, and if being with Shawn is a mistake, then I'll just have to figure that out on my own. I need to make my own decisions and live for myself. If he hurts me, that's on me, and you have my permission to kick his ass, but the only one who's hurt me so far is you. I can't live the way you want me to. He might break my heart, but I don't believe he will. I believe that he wants to do better," Beyoncé said.
