I felt guilty. Guilty like it was my falt that Zart died, like I could have tried harder to save him.

"you. this is all your fault!" Gally said as he ran up to me and tried to punch me but newt stoped him.

"Huh?" I said.

"YOU HEARD ALBY HE SAID HE SAW YOU. Your bad news."

I looked at newt, newt looked back at me.

"Oh gally, give it up. ITS NOT HER FAULT NOTHING IS" newt yelled.

"no newt! stop protecting her she's one of them!"

I felt guilty, I felt like a monster. What if gally was right? What if I had worked with them before to create this..

I needed to remember something, anything. And the only way to remember was to go through the changing. I had to sting myself.

Jeff had the serum, I snatched it of him.

"Ellie? What are you doing?" Newt said.

"I need to remember, what- what if I am a monster?"

"No ellie! Your not, your no where near one."

"I'm sorry."

I stung myself.

"NO."

"ELLIE."

"CHUCK GO GET CLINT"

That's all I heard before I passed out.

I woke up with Clint and Newt sitting beside me.

"Thank god." Newt said holding my hand.

"I'm sorry newt, I'm really sorry." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Sh, it's okay El. It's okay."

Alby walked in.

Hold up when did he get better? He looked good as new.

"Hey greenie. Newt told me what happened"

"Hey Newt, Clint think you could let me talk to her alone?" Alby added.

"I'll be outside waiting for you El."
I smiled at him

Newt kissed my hand and then left following Clint.

"The maze is a code." I said.

Where did that come from?

"Huh?" Alby said.

"The maze is a code, the runners. They have been looking at it all wrong."

I got up.

"Huh Ellie? Where you going?" Alby said.

"Ellie?" Newt said as he saw me run.

They followed me.

I felt so good weirdly, I ran to the homestead and got the maps out.

"The maps, you've been looking at it all wrong"
