- Melody Pov -

I was let out of hospital the next day. Before I left, the doctor prescribed me some anti depressants, gave me a pamphlet on suicide and let me go.
I couldn't wait to eat normal food again, It really sucked there and it would've been better if I'd died, but it doesn't matter.

As soon as we got home, my uncle sent me to my designated room, telling me I was grounded (which he already said) and that I wasn't to come out of my room unless I was called. I hated it...all of it.

I looked at the clock to see it was 9:32PM. I sighed.

The bed creaked as I sat down and stared out the open window at the house next door. Every house was separated by a distance of 10 metres. Nextdoor lived one of my best friends, Deloris. Her parents are pretty chill. I always enjoy talking with king and Diane, they're super nice to me because they're old and very good friends of my fathers.

I could sneak over, but my uncle has an extremely keen sense of hearing. Cuz he's a demon so it's expected.
On the other hand I could be good and sit here wasting my life away in a dark room. It was a hard decision, but I made the right one and stayed staring into the window across the gap. The light was on and the window open. I mean, Deloris did mention having a twin brother that went to our school, but I'd never really seen him around and when ever I would go to hers he would either be out with friends or in his room gaming. Honestly, I wish I was him.

A figure suddenly appeared in the window and I blushed as I noticed he wasn't wearing a shirt; His torso was covered in sweat and his cheeks were flushed. He bent down and grabbed something off the floor. It was a towel.
He started drying the sweat off of this body with the fabric, I couldn't help but stare at his toned stomach. He was so...hot.
He looked a lot like king, but with dark brown hair, gorgeous yellow eyes and a perfect body. Man I wouldn't mind if he wanted to fu-

He quickly looked at me, but I ducked down behind the window seal just in time; laying face down on the bed.
"Fuck fuck fuck!" I whispered as I heard a loud groan from the house next door.

"Hey? Were you watching me!?" I heard him yell and I started blushing. He sighed as I quickly sat up and looked across at him while pointing my finger accusingly. Blushing profusely.

"Well if you had closed your curtains then I wouldn't feel tempted to peek!" I huffed and crossed my arms, cheeks blazing and puffed out.

"Jeez, calm down pervy Blonde I was only teasing you, no need to get your panties in a wad." He chuckled as I stuck my tongue out.

'What a jerk...'
I looked down at the grass below as I tried to will the crimson hue to fade. "Hey, I never really asked but...what's your name? I'm really close with your sister but I've never actually seen you and I can't remember anything she's said regarding your existence." I spoke confidently while staring into his perfect eyes.

He smiled. "Helbram. But you can call me Hel for short." He said while making finger gun; his voice extremely low and attractive while he made the kind of face that said. 'You know you like it.'

I sighed and rested my elbow on the window seal. "God you're a dork, for someone who plays video games all the time you sure know how to make a girl act up." I spoke back seductively while wiggling my eyebrow. This made him laugh at me.

"You're funny...Melody."

I stopped smiling as I was shocked he knew my name. I hesitantly opened my mouth to ask, but he put his hand up. "I can read peoples minds...it's a fairy thing." Helbram answered, his finger in his ear.
I looked at his eyes and noticed a slight gold ring around his pupils.

"You have amazing eyes." I said not really thinking, cause I was still stunned.

"Thank you, Blondy."
