Melody shakes her head whilst staring at her boyfriend with terror. "No...he's wrong...Percy's not a doctor! He's a liar! Nothing is wrong with our baby, because if there was then I would know!" She yelled at him while standing up.
Helbram also shot up, desperate to calm her down before something bad happened. "Melody...please calm down...if you exert yourself at the moment you might end up going into labor."
"No! How can you possibly expect me to be calm right now!? You're putting your trust into that bastard, even after what he did!"
"He saved your life!"
"YEAH! WELL HE ALSO TORTURED ME!" She screamed.
Helbram took a few slow steps towards his girlfriend; who was letting her demonic side take control. He maintained eye contact with her as he tried to get into her mind to calm her down. "Melody, listen. I'm sorry that I trusted him after what he did, but he saved yours and Micah's life, and I know that you hate him, but please calm down." His eyes were glowing a gentle yellow as he proceeded to persuade her into listening. But she wouldn't have any of it.
"GET OUT OF MY FUCKING HEAD!" She yelled and began to back away quickly. "JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME!"
"Lody..."
"NO! I'M SICK OF LISTENING TO YOUR BULLSHIT EXCUSES AND CONTINUOUS LIES! I'VE HAD IT WITH BEING WEAK! I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO TRUST YOU, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHO'S SIDE YOU'RE ON ANY-" She suddenly stopped and looked at him, ashen-faced and shaking. Melody's eyes quickly faded back to green as she felt unfamiliar liquid begin running down her legs and creating a pool at her feet, her brows became deeply furrowed. All anger dissipating and being fully replaced with fear and remorse.
"Lod-"
"Helbram...my water just broke." Melody spoke as calmly as possible to let him know that she wasn't mad anymore and that she needed his assistance.
"Wha-" He trailed, fully frozen in place.
"My water just broke and I need to get to the hospital!" She rushed out, deciding to just give up.
He said nothing.
"My contractions haven't started yet, there's still time! Helbram please!"
Still, he remained frozen with nothing to say. His eyes wide, jaw slack and face pale.
"Please talk to me! In sorry I snapped! I was wrong, just please speak to me!" Her voice began to break, which effectively snapped him back into reality.
"H-HOLY SHIT, I'M G-GONNA BE A D-DAD SOON!" He suddenly announced, crying upon realising and being able to share what had been keeping him in his frozen state.
"YES! and I need you to get me to a hospital in order for me to have our baby." She ordered with a bit of a hiss.
"Shit! Let's go!" He cursed, wiping his eyes, picking her up, and rushing her out the door.
"What are you doing!? Don't carry me! I can walk on my own!"
He shook his head. "No. If your contractions start then you won't be able to walk." He spoke whilst opening the car door and setting her down on the passenger side.
"Helbram, this isn't Bridget Jones baby, you don't need to carry me!" Melody explained as he jumped in and tried starting the car. Luckily he grabbed the key before hand. "I'm serious."
"And I know that, but this is non-negotiable. What I was trying to say before you began screaming at me, was that something is not right with our son and it's scaring me, Lody." He explained, putting his hand on her thigh and rubing it. "and I also know that I have no idea how to drive a car..." He mumbled quietly with a deep blush.
