Chapter 37 - Oop

- Melody Pov -

My uncle arrived to pick us up and I couldn't be happier. Like what the fuck bitch? You took 30 minutes to get here when it's a fucking 20 minute drive!? So yeah. Since I was now 4 months pregnant, I get tired easily and I constantly need to pee.

Anyways, the car ride home was pretty enjoyable as we had picked the best bangers to scream our lungs out to. I smiled as I watched Helbram sing along to I want it that way by The backstreet boys. He looked so happy as the chorus began playing and he started making these weird hand gestures to make it more funny. I looked out the window as I caressed my stomach. 'It's only a matter of time until he starts moving around and kicking.' I smiled just as I thought I felt something move under my palm, but I quickly dismissed the strange sensation and continued to look out at the passing scenery.

The car went quiet as the song came to a close, a longer moment of silence, then the next song began paying. I quickly looked at the radio as Nothing by Bruno Major began playing. Helbrams favourite song.

I quickly looked away out of embarrassment...he loved to woo me by singing it whenever we had our little moments together. Specially when he wanted to make me blush.
I suddenly felt his larger hands encompassing mine and bring them up to his chest. He gazed into my eyes as his favourite part came up. "Dumb conversations, we lose track of time, have I told you lately I'm grateful you're mine. We'll watch The Notebook For the 17th time I'll say 'It's stupid' Then you'll catch me crying." He whispered along with the song as my face went a million shades redder.

His hands drifted to my baby bump as he brought himself as close to me as he possibly could. I was blushing really hard cuz my uncle was right there. "He-Helbram w-what are you doing?" I asked my blushing boyfriend, his eyes all glazed over and his lips slightly parted.

The car suddenly stopped as Uncle Zeldris parking in the driveway and awkwardly hurried out. Leaving me alone with a very horny Helbram. He continued to give me the look as he gave my thigh a squeeze before moving closer to my core; stroking my inner thigh and making me bite my lip. I pushed him away. "A-are you serious?" I asked him with a slight undertone of inexperience. But I'm fucking preggers so you tell me if I'm inexperienced or not. I guess I was pretty drunk when we fucked last time so yeah..."Please be gentle." I blushed.

He nodded, said nothing and just began kissing my neck softly, the warm sensation of his tongue on my exposed skin made my body shiver with pleasure. I mewlled with delight as he began sucking on my collar bone. Helbram's hand continued to wander up my thigh until he was at my crotch. I pushed him away again. Which made him sit upright; He respected my boundaries each and every time and that's something I loved about him.

I looked away from his concerned gaze, my hand covering my reddened face. "I-I think we should maybe go inside..." I explained with a quiver in my voice as I put my hands on my stomach. The real reason I wanted to stop wasn't because I got uncomfortable...I just didn't know if we should have sex in my uncle's car while I was pregnant and...

He nodded slowly and smiled, bringing a hand up to cup my cheek. "The baby kicked too, didn't he?" Helbram asked, eyes glowing as he read my mind.

I nodded. "Yes, he did." I smiled happily. After that we both exited the car and went inside.

- Helbram Pov -

We entered the front door and Melody instantly went upstairs to our bedroom, I followed closely behind as to make sure she didn't trip and hurt herself. I even made a big thing out of opening the door for her and Bowing as she walked in.

She strode over to our shared bed and plonked herself onto it; shuffling up to the headboard and leaning up against it. I too joined her on the bed; moving closer so I could rest my head on her thighs while she massaged my scalp.
Melody readjusted her position nervously.
"Hey, I was wondering if..."

"We should have a gender reveal party? I know, I've been reading your mind for the past 10 minutes...sorry." I apologized to her for being too nosy.

She simply sighed. "Seriously!? You've been doing that a lot lately...can you please tell me why?" She pried.

I looked at the soft sheets.
"Ummm...not yet." I knew that I would feel silly for telling her that the reason why I was using my mind reading powers was to see if I could hear our baby...so I didn't. Because my father told me that how he found out my mum was pregnant was that he heard our hearts and thoughts. Kinda weird, but I still wanted to try it regardless.

"You gonna tell me or not?" She suddenly piped up, pulling me from my mind.

I looked up at her and shook my head. "It's nothing...anyways, about that gender reveal party." I said, desperate to change the subject.

I heard her sigh loudly. "Yeah...I wanted to have one, but the only problem is your mother and father plus my dead beat dad." I frowned. "They don't want us to have this baby, but I don't want them to be excluded. I also feel like I'm ruining your life goals and dreams." I could sense the overwhelming sadness in her tone and sat up, encompassing her body with my own and just holding her.

"You aren't ruining anything, this was both of our decisions. " I pressed my forehead against hers.

She sniffled. "B-but what about your d-dreams?"

I stoked her back as I stared at the wall; desperately holding in my tears.
"M-Melody, my life was meaningless before I met you! The fact that you're having MY son gives me purpose to protect and love you! I don't need dreams to keep me going because I've always dreamt of being with you."

I felt her calm down slightly as my tears fell down my cheeks. I hid my face in her shoulder to stop the tears. It worked.

"Helbram..." She cooed as she stroked my back. "Thank you...I think we should invite both of our parents to our party."

I nodded into her shoulder.

- Time skip: 3: 24am -

- Helbram Pov -

I suddenly awoke to a strange humming sound coming from Melody...it was faint, but audible. I was pretty tired at the time so I was a little bit disoriented. I sat up and looked at her resting face, so gentle and delicate. I put my hand on her bump and that's when I heard it, the quietest voice...the words were all jumbled, but I definitely heard it. I quickly got down low and pressed my ear to her swollen abdomen, the soft sounds of our son moving around inside of her brought me to tears and she will never know that this ever happened. I laughed quietly as I heard him moving, kicking and thinking.
"You're an active one aren't you?" I cooed before noticing Melody's discomfort; her face was all scrunched up as he suddenly started moving around like crazy.

I stroked her stomach softly for a while to get him to calm down and soon enough Melody relaxed into my touch and smiled in her sleep.

"That's better."
