Melody looked at her cousin as he kept smiling and fiddling with his knife. She then moved her gaze at the fire alarm and noticed that Zenita was looking at it too. They both nodded to each other.
He sighed. "You think you can really escape me!? I'm going to kill you before you can even move an inch to run away." He twirled the knife in his fingers again, as if he were agitated.
Melody was shaking, but she glared at him none the less. "What's your last name!? Do you even have one!?" The blonde questioned him aggressively.
"It's Harrison." He frowned. "but does it really matter, you'll be dead in 5 minutes. So information like that isn't very useful when you're a corpse. Say? Will your boyfriend care if he found out you were dead AND carrying his baby?" Percy smirked and took a step forward, Melody taking yet another back. Zenita gave a little cough to try and get Melody to initiate the signal, but she ignored her. "You think I'll show you mercy because you're with child!?"
She scoffed. "No...but you really think I'd just roll over and let you kill me!?" Her dark onyx eyes burning into him like daggers.
"Melody?" Zenita whispered desperately.
"I'm not a weak bitch! You can spout all the shit you'd like, but I'm not gonna crumble to you."
"MELODY!?" Zenita screamed as he swung the knife and sliced into Melody's cheek, drawing blood and making her hiss. At that very same time, Zenita had pulled the fire alarm and the sprinklers had turned on; soaking Percy's hair and causing the blood on his knife to wash away.
Everyone began running out of their classes as the alarms screeched and echoed through the building. Zenita began running with the crowd of students and so did Melody, but he grabbed her and pushed her against a wall. "Uh uh uh...not so fast blondie-"
"Don't call me that!" She screamed and slammed her head into his, desperate to escape him and get outside with the others. This just made him more angry and just caused him to grab her and throw her to the floor.
"YOU STUPID GIRL!" Percy yelled right before he kicked her in the head and knocked her out.

- Zenita Pov -
"Where the hell is Melody!?" I panicked and started running through the courtyard. A short man with black hair stopped me.
"You need to stay back, there's a potential threat inside the buil-"
"BUT MY FRIEND IS IN THERE, SIR!" I screamed as I stared into his calming emerald eyes. "I need to made sure she's okay!" I said a little more calmly.
He sighed. "What's her name?..." He asked cautiously.
"Melody!"
His eyes widened and he instantly began shaking. "Y-you said Melody!?" He panicked. "I need to go in th-there..." He was pale and clearly going into shock.
"Let me come with you." I said with determination in my deep red eyes.
"Usually I would say no, cuz I'm a detective and it's my job...but this isn't really my area of supervision, so I'll take you with me." He said quickly and then grabbed my arm and took me towards the building.
A teacher ran towards us yelling things like." Don't take her back in there! It's dangerous, what will her parents do!?" But he just held up his badge and kept walking. I looked at his face and smiled. 'so this is really happening? I'm actually helping for once.' but I felt bad, cuz his eyes were filled with so much grief.
The detective opened the doors and I instantly started running towards the place where all of the shit went down. I heard him yelling and running after me.
"HEY! STOP! THEY COULD STILL BE IN HERE!" he screamed, but I didn't listen.
I turned a corner. I felt my hearts beating uncontrollably. Why did my mum do all of this. She could have just told my dad about me and we could have been one big happy family. I felt tears welling up as I saw a trail of blood. No! I'd finally met my cousin, my family and this happens. I stopped as I looked at a pool of blood and an empty hallway.
He'd taken her. I left her here just to die. A Bitch... That's what I am.
I fell to my knees and started crying. The man came running up behind me and then stopped when he realised what had happened.
"Melody..." He whispered and began crying too.
"Sh-she's gone...I'm s-sorry."
