- Meliodas Pov -
Since I moved states, I've tried to contact Melody 7 times, but she keeps ignoring me. I understand that she's upset with me, but I don't understand why she wouldn't message me.
It wasn't until Zeldris called me up, sounding extremely panicked and talking really fast that made me really start to worry about her. He told me that Melody had snuck back to the house at 4 in the morning to try and kill herself. He got there just in time to rush her to the hospital and get her into ICU. The doctors told him if he'd been even a minute late, then she would have died.
I dropped the phone the second he hung up and fell to the floor. Part of me wanted to fly straight back to Montana, but the other said to stay in New York. (I don't live in America, I just wanted to stage it there so don't judge)
I got scared, my hands began shaking and my fatherly instincts kicked in. I'm a truly disgraceful demon, I left my daughter with my brother just to make more money...and for what!?
I put her safety on the line. I fucking hate myself right now, I should have refused the offer the second it was given to me, but I was greedy and
excepted it without hesitation.
What have I done!?

- Melody Pov -
The after school bell rung and I made my escape, sprinting down the sidewalk. I passed by Killia's house on the way there and noticed that Ban and Elaine weren't home. I kept sprinting for another 800 metres, or until I ran out of breath and threw up into a bush. I had finally arrived at Helbram's house, my plan was to wait for him to get home so I could ambush him.
