- Nora Pov -
Zeldris and I entered the shop. It was pretty small, but still large enough to have good stock.
I blew some hair out of my face as I strode up to the counter and slammed my book down. The young, female store clerk looked at me strangely, but just smiled and chuckled. "Let me guess, life or death situation?" She asked me, not noticing Zeldris behind me.
"Uhh, yes...my friend, Melody Wrathen has got Devils fever and I really need this flower." I explained while pointing to the picture of the dragons heart. The store clerk nodded, almost taken aback.
"The demon kings grandaughter you say?" She asked lazily. "I don't really know if we have any in stock right now." The clerk mumbled with no respect towards me at all. Or more Specially, Melody. I cleared my throat and she instantly straightening up when she noticed Zeldris walking over to the counter.
He looked at me before narrowing his eyes at her, showing off his royal status and putting her in her place with a single glare. "I'd expect more from a small business such as this, if you don't bring me that flower than I'm going to be really pissy...you got that." He threatened as I watched her absolutely die from embarrassment and fear; her cheeks rosy with a flaming red hue of blush.
"P-prince Zeldris!? My apologizes for not noticing your presence in the shop, let me go get that flower for you right away!" She yelled before running off to get it.
He looked at me and grinned, I just laughed quietly behind my hand.

The time went slowly, one minute it was silent and the next Meliodas, Zeldris, Melody and Nora came back in. They all seemed really uptight. "Why did we bring her if we were just gonna take her back to your place anyways!?" Meliodas yelled at Zeldris, he shrugged slightly.
"I thought that bringing her to the demon realm might help her a little..."
"SHE WASN'T BORN IN THE DEMON REALM, SHE WAS BORN HERE!" He yelled back.
"But she's a demon..." Zeldris explained again...calmly. his point was valid, but still confusing.
"ZELDRIS! I SWEAR TO G-"
I snapped, clenching my jaw and fists.
"Can everyone please stop shouting! You're upsetting Melody!" I growled, making everyone look down at her scrunched up face and furrowed brows. I scoffed, walking over to take her from Meliodas. "I'll take her upstairs while you guys can make the medicine." I said as I gently held Melody in bridal position, just being happy to have her back in my arms. "oh and by the way..." I whispered to Nora. "Why'd you even bring Percy if you were just going to make the medicine yourself?"I glared at her, but she stood her ground well. "I brought him so he could use his goddess healing... And I'm also not 100% sure on what I'm doing exactly." She mumbled embarrassed. I scoffed. I didn't like the thought of putting Melody in anymore danger.
"Alright then...but I'm staying with her upstairs until you're ready."
"Sure."
--------------------------
I grunted as I laid her down gently, Then joining her on the bed, I also laid down - my arm propped so I could watch her, guard her. Luckily the illness had left Melody completely incapacitated so she was out cold. Before all of this she wasn't sleeping very well because the baby wouldn't stop kicking, so this period of rest might do her some good. For the most part anyways.
I didn't know how much pain she was in, but I was hoping that her and our Son...Micah...would be okay. A smile spread across my face as I caressed her cheek. The name Micah was biblical, but she didn't choose it because of that, neither of us gave a shit about that kind of stuff, I guess she just liked the way it sounded. A strong masculine name...sounds about right.
"Hey, Melody...I promise when this is all over...I'll give you your memories back..." I whispered as I ran my fingers through her soft yellow hair. "Even the painful ones." I muttered the last sentence to myself. Feeling a strong sense of guilt and selfishness.
She suddenly stirred, but didn't wake, I sighed as I placed a hand on her stomach. To be honest I was worried about them...I couldn't eat, sleep or think. They're my family afterall.
I yawned unexpectedly, the temptation of sleep began to take over me as I rested my head on the pillow and pulled Melody close to my body. I didn't want anyone to hurt her. never again. I sighed right before the door opened and then I groaned in frustration. "Don't any of you know how to knock!?" I sassed.
"Sorry." Nora rushed before opening the door."We've completed the medicine, plus Percy will come up to give some extra support. Healing her after being given the medicine will increase its chances of working...not that it won't." Nora explained meekly. I nodded and turned to Melody, brushing some hair out of her face.
"Okay, I'm ready." I agreed, Nora gave me a confirming look before allowing Percy to enter the room, along with the medicine. He strode over to her side of the bed and placed the glass of swirling red and black liquid on the nightstand. Percy then proceeded to get onto his knees, rolling up his sleeves. I started to fret as he picked up the glass, tilting Melody's head, and then pouring the liquid into her mouth. He put the glass down again and then cast his hands aggressively over her chest. I watched in amazement as a blinding yellow light ignited the room with an electrifying buzz of magical energy. The feeling was ecstatic. It faded until there was nothing, I looked down at Melody's face and signed in relief. She no longer appeared to be in any form of discomfort.
Percy also sighed and stood up, a bashful smile apparent on his face.
"There, that should do it...since the medicine has only just been administered, she'll need to stay in bed for at least 3 more hours...it takes about 20 minutes to kick in, but she'll be weak so I wouldn't advise any kind of physically straining exercises or activities for a while. But over all she'll recover...oh and just so you know, your son is also okay." He explained as he readjusted his sleeves.I smiled happily at him...he really came through for us. " Thank you, I'm truly grateful." I spoke with evident gratitude and compassion.
"No problem."
