"Welcome home, Mr. Kim Taehyung."
I bowed back to my kind doorman, smiling at him.
He must have noticed I was in a hurry because he offered to take care of my luggage. I thanked him profusely, walking as fast as possible to the elevator doors.
I almost broke the fancy elevator button as I pressed it a hundred times.
I checked my watch again. 7h33.
I clicked my tongue against my teeth with impatience, digging my hands deep in my pockets.
If it weren't for Seoul's damn traffic, I'd be holding her in my arms right now, I thought with a sigh.
After what felt like an eternity, the elevator doors finally opened in front of me. Again, I pressed like a maniac our floor's button.
Patience was definitely not one of my virtues.
Wait... Our? I realized.
I pinched my lips together before smiling at my reflection in the mirror.
Our floor.
I liked that.
I like the way it sounds.
I wondered if she'd be awake already. I was thinking about how I could surprise her.
I'd open our bedroom's blinds, standing like a Greek god in front of the sunrise, offering her a cup of freshly made coffee. She'd be head over heels for me, her hero, coming back from a faraway land... She'd fall into my arms, giving me her lips to kiss, putting her hands all over me...
I cleared my throat, trying to focus back on reality.
Just a few days without her and I was already losing my mind.
Finally, the elevator rang for my floor. The next second, I was already scanning my fingertip to enter the apartment.
Softly, I pushed the door trying to make the least noise possible. I was slowly removing my moccasins when I heard some noises coming from the kitchen.
Is she up already?
I tiptoed my way inside.
Micha was pouring some coffee beans into the grinder. I smiled, realizing she was wearing one of my hoodies.
I couldn't hold it anymore.
I caught her between my arms, pressing my body against hers. She gasped in surprise but I felt her relax as soon as I got my face into the crook of her warm neck.
Where I belong.
I missed her smell so much.
"I told you I would bring coffee," I teased her, tightening my grip around her.
Gosh, I missed her so much.
"You scared me," she cutely giggled, her hand reaching for me.
Shivers ran all the way down my spine as I felt her fingers tangling in my hair. She leaned deeper into me as I took a long breath against her skin.
I caressed her stomach as my lips were devouring her neck.
I felt like a drug addict, finally getting his fix.
And it felt so good.
I couldn't believe I was holding in my arms the mysterious girl I've met more than a year ago at some sordid party. After daydreaming about her for the longest time, it felt so surreal to be finally with her today... And to be calling her my girlfriend.
And perhaps more, soon.
She turned around, blessing me with the vision of her adorable smile.
I felt that strange feeling in my stomach as soon as her eyes looked up at me.
"Good morning," she croaked, batting her long lashes at me.
I lifted her chin with a slight finger, getting her lips closer to mine.
"Good morning, baby bear."
She circled her arms around my neck and all the blue and the grey faded away.
