One week later | Jungkook

"JK!"

My eyes darted to the other side of the restaurant.

"Over here!"

Taehyung was waving his long arms in my direction. Micha was sitting next to him, her arms crossed.

I counted six chairs around the table.

Tae and Micha were already occupying two.

I was getting one.

I knew Jimin and Dohyun were going to arrive any minute.

So, there was a sixth guest.

I'm going to see her again, I thought, feeling my heart already jumping in my chest.

I had been wondering about it all day since Jimin invited all of us for a Korean barbecue.

I smiled as I walked between the tables.

"Hi," I greeted the lovebirds as I got rid of my duffle coat.

Taehyung answered politely.

Micha glared me up and down.

"Hi, noona," I insisted again, deliberately taking the seat next to hers.

She mumbled something under her breath, turning to Taehyung and almost showing her back to me.

"What's wrong?" I frowned.

Taehyung giggled, passing his arm around his girlfriend and bringing her closer against him.

"She's not talking to you anymore," he explained with a smile that didn't look as sorry as we could expect.

"What? Why not?" I chuckled, already playing with my chopsticks on the table.

I was expecting a joke, nothing serious.

Micha grumbled something against Tae again.

"She says it's your fault if Yejin is leaving Seoul," Taehyung said, this time with a smile that seemed actually sorry.

I froze.

"What?" I straightened on my seat.

I wasn't sure I heard correctly.

Micha took a glimpse above her shoulder.

"What do you mean?" I insisted already, my hands still froze in the air, a chopstick in each of them.

Micha glanced at Taehyung before looking back at me.

"You didn't know?" she asked, turning to face me now, a serious look on her face.

I blinked, my hands falling on my lap.

Impossible.

"I saw her last week..." I frowned, refusing to comprehend. "When we visited Yoongi..."
