I arrived in front of the café's building and leaned against the wall, waiting for the others.
Since our visit to Daegu a month ago, Taehyung and I had spent some more time with his family whenever we could. I was getting along very well with them and they really made me feel like I was part of the family.
It made me miss my mother even more. I wished we could have visited each other but the traveling restrictions were making it impossible for the moment.
At the same time, it felt so good to see Tae smile from ear to ear whenever he'd be surrounded by all his loved ones. Even his friends commented to me that they had not seen him smile like that in forever.
It felt good to be one of the reasons why.
My fingers came to play with the necklace hanging on my chest.

He greeted me one evening with a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful gift box.
I had no idea about this Korean tradition. I remembered profusely apologizing to him and, of course, my perfect boyfriend just laughed it off.
He seemed impatient for me to open the velvet gift box.
My breath got cut short when my stare fell on the beautiful necklace in it.
"It's a sapphire," he said, as he slowly placed the delicate silver chain around my neck. "I've made it done just for you."
I was already crying warm tears when my fingers caressed the back and felt some engraving.
