1. Spill the tea

"Why don't you store your clothes in the drawers?" I asked Micha as I got out of the shower, seeing the mess of her opened luggage on the floor. "I freed half of them for you."

Micha stretched her arms above her head, laying back in bed.

"I was lazy," she chuckled. "Also, it's temporary anyway, right?"

I bit on my lower lip, trying to avoid her stare.

"I'll be back to my apartment soon enough," she continued, playing with her hair.

I changed into comfortable clothes, joining her back below the blanket.

Right away, she turned her back to me, pulling her hair to the pillow side. I crawled my body against hers as she was pulling my arm around her waist.

We stayed like that for some long minutes, just enjoying each other's presence. It felt so comforting to be finally holding her so close to me.

We had breakfast together earlier. I told her everything about my Jeju island trip with the boys.

I remembered she took a sip of her coffee and asked me if we took good care of Yejin. I assured her we did - mostly one of us.

As soon as I said that, we both glared at each other, each on our side of the table.

She was Yejin's friend.

I was Jungkook's best friend.

She squinted her eyes at me, tilting her head to the side.

I pursed my lips at her, raising my eyebrows.

Who was going to spill the tea first?

Because of our obvious conflict of interests, we laughed it off, deciding by mutual agreement to avoid this subject.

Micha's long sigh brought me back to the present moment.

I looked down at the curve of her neck. I watched as her chest slowly rose and fell. She seemed at peace between my arms.

"I missed you so much, baby bear," I whispered against her ear in a deep voice.

I saw goosebumps appearing on her skin.

She turned around, facing me.

"It was too long..." she answered, pouting her lip, batting her long lashes. "I missed you too much."

I tucked a strand of loose hair behind her ear.

"I'm sorry..." I pinched my lips together.

Then, an idea popped up in my head.

"But it will always be like that you know..."

I looked away, feigning an innocent look while playing with her hair.

"As soon as the world's situation will be back to normal, I will be touring again, traveling all around the world, all the time..."

I continued, not feeling any response from Micha's side.

"And there will be my military service too..."

I took a quick peek back at her. She was squinting her beautiful brown eyes at me.

Not getting fooled for even one second.

"I know what you're doing, Taehyung..."

I gulped.
