"No seafood for him, OK?"

I pointed to Namjoon in the distance and the chef nodded at my instructions.

"And no strong alcoholic beverages for lunch," I added, checking the notes on my phone. "Or they will sleep the whole afternoon..." I commented for myself only.

I gave more instructions to the cooking staff before heading for the terrace.

After a gigantic breakfast, everybody had showered and change into beach clothes. Jimin and Hoseok were already dipping into the pool as the others were gathered around the table.

Except for one.

"Where's Jungkook?" I asked, sitting down with them.

"Still napping, I think," Jin answered, spreading some sunscreen on his handsome face.

"Well, we had a long week..." Yoongi yawned, stretching like a cat on his chair.

That was an understatement.

I leaned in my chair, thinking of my week.

How it started with Jungkook appearing at my gym. How I got so mad at him and how he looked so clueless when I called him out on his mistake.

I still couldn't believe he showed up at the hostess bar. I couldn't believe he put his career on the line so easily... Just to clear things out with me?

I shook my head at the memories of that night.

I didn't want to remember it.

Manager Yerah had given me Chohee's number. The girl I saved from that crazy guy.

She still did not answer any of my messages. I was only hoping she was OK now.

I sighed, remembering Jungkook's texts.

I hope you're alright. Please text me or call me if you need anything...

I closed my eyes, taking a long breath of the ocean air.

I imagined him at the hospital, holding a bunny toy bag in his arms, waiting for me to wake up.

I imagined him dragging an air conditioning unit all the way up to my apartment.

I couldn't help but smile.

What's up with him? I bit the inside of my cheek.

For some reason, after everything that happened this week, one strong memory prevailed on the others.

Jungkook making dumplings with Halmeoni.

I smiled again, looking into the distance, a shiver going down my body.

"Are you cold?" Jin asked, already handing his cardigan for me.

"아니요! [Aniyo! No!]", I assured him with a smile. "Thank you."

The staff interrupted us, starting to lay the table for our seafood feast.

I called the boys to join us. Namjoon was reading a book on a sun-chair as Taehyung was on the phone, walking by the ocean.

I had rented a beautiful villa for them, with a pool, a barbecue, and private access to the beach. They looked so happy when we arrived, to finally have some time for themselves, I would have paid to see that more often.
