"Oh my God!"

I held my chest with one hand, the other one grasping the kitchen island.

"Yejin!" my eyes widened on her, my heart almost exploding. "You scared the shit out of me!"

"Sorry," she squeaked.

The next second, I was throwing my arms around her.

"I missed you so much! I can't believe you're here! Your hair is so much longer!" I broke our hug, frowning at her. "Wait... What are you doing here?"

My stare fell on the plate she was preparing on the counter.

Sliced bananas, with peanut butter and jam. The banana pieces had been cut and placed for them to look like little bunnies.

"Oh," my eyebrows rose up on my forehead. "Oooh!"

I assumed my little conversation with Jungkook had the expected effects.

Yejin muffled a laugh behind her hand.

Her eyes were smiling so brightly, it warmed my heart to see her like that.

"When did you come back?" I shook her shoulders. "Are you back for good?"

"Just two nights ago... I was going to tell you today!" she defended herself right away when I glared at her. "I just wanted to... test the waters first?"

I tilted my head to the side, my eyes narrowing on her.

"And...?"

"And, yeah..." she looked to the side, a small smile on her face. "I'm staying for good."

"Yejin! It's awesome! I-"

She slapped her hand over my loud mouth, her pressing eyes and shushing lips making me silent.

"Everybody's still sleeping..." she softly giggled.

I vehemently nodded, not able to control the gigantic smile on my face.

"Is Tae not making your coffee today?" she asked as I fetched the coffee beans.

"I'm not even sure he'll be able to wake up after the amount of booze he had last night..." I chuckled.

Yejin smiled, her kind eyes observing me for a second.

"Nice... Anyway, I should go now," she tilted her head towards Jungkook's bedroom. "He's not the most patient type..."

I nodded with a big smile, already excited at the idea of sharing more breakfasts all together here.

Just like last year.

And then, I got an idea.

"Yejin, wait."

She turned around, holding the plate in her hands.

"Have you found a job already?"

She blinked with surprise at me.

"No... I wanted to wait a little bit. Why?"
