58. Don't ruin my lipstick!

6 PM | Yejin

"Hi, babe! What's wrong? Why are you not dressed yet?"

I heard Jungkook's heavy steps coming from the entrance.

"Do we really have to go?"

I had not planned to sound so sulky but it was a big fail.

Jungkook leaned against the kitchen counter and I noticed how stunning he looked in his classy dark suit.

"What's wrong?"

I pulled my long hair from one side of my neck to the other, not knowing how to choose my words.

"Is it because you will not know most of the guests?" he tried, tilting his head to the side. "Me neither. I'm shy too, you know that. But we know Namjoon. And Nari. I know they'll be happy we come for his birthday dinner."

He took a step to come behind me, resting his chin on my shoulder.

"And Taehyung and Micha will be there too."

I stiffened at the mention of my friend's name.

That was exactly why I didn't want to go.

But Jungkook wrapped his strong arms around my waist, pulling me into his warm embrace.

I was too shy to tell him how much I missed him today.

"And I'll be there too..." his beautiful tenor voice whispered against my ear.

I closed my eyes and melted a bit more into his loving hug.

The life I was living demanded me to be strong and tough all the time.

But with Jungkook, I just wanted to be soft.

I turned around to deepen our hug. He kissed the top of my head, his fingers stroking my long hair in the back.

I felt all my worries fading away.

"I love you."

"I love you..."

We kissed and, again, I felt all my defenses falling down.

As long as we were together, everything would be fine.

"I'm gonna get ready then. Just need 20 minutes."

I pecked one last kiss of his lips and he spanked my ass when I got away from his embrace.

"We're gonna be late," he chuckled, loosening his tie knot.

I answered by bending over and getting rid of my pants right in front of his eyes. He made a shocked face and I disappeared inside the bathroom in giggles before he could get his filthy hands on me.
