"And this is Danbi!" I showed on my phone. "Taehyung's family's cat."

My mother pushed her glasses on her nose, her green eyes squinting on my screen.

"He loves to sleep on my lap!" I continued in an excited voice. "So much cat hair... I have to put all my clothes to wash every Sunday!"

"Every Sunday?" she repeated, turning her eyes to me. "You must be spending a lot of time with his family then?"

I shrugged with a pout, swiping to the next picture on my Summer album.

We were sitting in the house's living room, busy catching up with each other's lives.

Well, mainly my life.

A notification popped on the top of my phone with a - ting!

"Oh," I blinked on it.

"Check it," my mother said, holding the couch's armrest to help herself get up. "I'll take a bathroom break."

She patted my knee and I smiled as she walked out.

I clicked on Jungkook's message.

I clicked my tongue against my teeth, glaring at my screen.

My angry thumbs were already typing back an answer.

The three little dots appeared and disappeared.
