My eyes closed shut when Jungkook's familiar alarm clock rang.

I heard him groan in my back. His body rolled over to the other side and stopped the alarm.

He rolled back just as fast, his strong arms coming around me.

"Fivemoreminutes," he grumbled against my back, his legs intertwining with mine below the blanket.

My eyes slowly fluttered open.

Just like any cold November morning, it was barely even light outside.

It felt too cozy and I was too sleepy to even try to wake up.

I sighed and turned around, my cold cheek coming against Jungkook's warm bare chest.

He pulled the covers higher on us, his cheek rubbing against the top of my head.

We stayed like that for five more minutes.

Until the alarm rang again.

"Justonemoreminute," Jungkook mumbled, hitting the snooze button once more.

I sniffed and turned to lay on my back, still half asleep.

My mouth felt dry. My muscles were sore.

I yawned, my eyes slowly blinking to the ceiling.

After a long minute, I licked my lips, my eyes finally wide open.

My face turned to his side.

Jungkook's big doe eyes were waiting for me.

He didn't look sleepy. He didn't seem like he just woke up.

Instead, his doe eyes were wide open, carefully studying me.

"Hey," he spoke in a husky voice.

"Hey..." I answered in the same tone, my eyes fluttering on him.

I frowned, remembering the night.

Micha's birthday. Tae talking with me. Jungkook showing up.

I swallowed with difficulty, licking my lips once more.

I could feel it again.

A bitter taste on my tongue.

I thought of the way Jungkook made love to me last night.

I was brought back to the present moment when Jungkook's slight fingers brushed against my neck.

"I like short hair on you," he said, his fingers nudging on my hair ends.

I turned to him and smiled.

"It's not what you said last time," I decided to tease him. "When I showed you some old pics of me."

We both smiled at each other, remembering some good memories from a hot summer night in my old room (Book 1, Chapter 62).

His fingers grazed over my collarbone and I couldn't help but look down at his lips.
