Bare-faced Jeon Jungkook, sitting down in our modest living room, wearing my father's sweatpants, playing video games with my brother.
"You're good," I heard Minjun said, his 16-year-old voice cracking in the middle.
"Been playing a lot lately," Jungkook answered, his hands gripping around the controller.
I placed a tray of side dishes on the coffee table.
Jungkook took a quick peek at me before staring back at the game on the TV.
We still had no opportunity to talk to each other. We had been taken into the whirlwind of my family and the preparation of dinner.
I sat down in the opposite corner of the room, my knees coming against my chest.
"Can I bring him to school tomorrow? The girls will go crazy," Minjun asked with a small grin, his stare still glued to the screen.
Jungkook chuckled. I rolled my eyes out with a small snort.
"He's not an object you can just bring around..." I sniffed, looking through the window by my side. "He will be leaving as soon as the rain stops anyway."
And just as I spoke these words, a loud crash of thunder resonated above the house, the rain batting more intensely against the window.
I took a quick glimpse in the direction of Jungkook.
He was already observing me.
