Jungkook wouldn't let go of me as we slowly made our way back to the shore.
"I can't swim like that!" I protested with a smile.
"It's OK, I'll carry you then," he laughed, forcing my arms back around his neck.
I wiggled my legs in the cool waters as he pulled the both of us through the waves.
When my feet would finally touch the bottom, I tried to let go of him one more time but he refused.
"Well... I can't walk like that!" I seriously protested now.
He pursed his lips to the side, a deep-thinking look on his cute face.
"Jump on my back."
Without even waiting for my answer, he squatted down in the water in front of me, with only his shoulders emerging on the surface.
I was craving for his touch as much as he was craving for mine. I realized we might be both afraid things would get awkward as soon as we'd leave the ocean.
As soon as we'd stop touching each other.
I hopped on his back, the water around us making it easier. My arms wrapped around his neck as he passed his hands below my knees.
"Dumpling delivery!" he howled around with a nasal voice, easily lifting the both of us, his long legs jumping over the waves.
I giggled against his shoulder, holding for life around his neck. His long black hair flapped against me as he jumped around. I could hear him laughing out loud, his heart beating fast between his shoulder blades.
We giggled like kids until Jungkook's feet reached the beach.
I don't want this moment to end.
Our laughs faded with the dark waters we were leaving behind.
"Where are we going?" I frowned when I realized he walked passed the plaid with our clothing.
"Let's shower first," he replied, showing the outdoor shower in the distance with a small movement from his chin.
My cheeks got warm.
Couldn't we just stay salty... I thought, my nose enjoying the ocean smell on his silky skin.
The two outdoor showers were facing the ocean, making it impossible for anyone inside the house to peek in this direction.
I thought he would drop me when he arrived onto the wooden floor, but he didn't.
I wiggled my legs in the air, not understanding what he was waiting for.
"Payment."
I snorted and he tilted his head to the side.
"Payment for the ride," he insisted, adjusting his grip below my knees.
I laughed.
"What payment?"
He tilted his head even more, almost laying his right ear on his right shoulder.
